A nationwide shoplifting epidemic is crippling the finances of brick-and-mortar retailers, who warn that they may be forced to raise prices or even shutter stores in order to offset tens of billions of dollars in lost inventory.

The National Retail Foundation is estimating that it lost $94.5 billion last year due to “shrink” — an industry term that means lost inventory — which is being blamed primarily on shoplifting, according to The Wall Street Journal.

A big sign as you come in the store that says “Observed shoplifters will be shot on sight” even if not actually followed might slow it down.

That and police officer cut-outs used to work, but that is like a Biden tweet to the illegals to not come nowadays. The real ones know the real scoop.

Problem for us too. As we stand in line to pay, some individuals walk out with their stuff, causing prices to rise all around for those who actually pay for things.

This is the result of democrat action. In 2020 they deliberately allowed, encouraged and assisted looting, as long as it was done under the banner of BLM. In dem areas they decriminalized theft under $1,000. They encouraged the “oppressed” to waltz right in and take what they wanted from their “oppressors.”

The result is obvious. It is what the dems WANT for us. They lie if they say otherwise.

Plus they want reparations on top of that.
