McCaul on Ukraine Aid: ‘We’ve Destroyed the Russian Military Without One American Soldier Being Killed’
Breitbart ^ | 12/22/2022 | Pam Key

Posted on 12/22/2022 12:04:46 PM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Representative Michael McCaul (R-TX) said Thursday on CNN’s “At This Hour” that the United States giving aid to help Ukraine fight against Russia’s invasion has “destroyed the Russian military without one American soldier being killed.”

On Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s speech to a joint meeting of Congress, McCaul said, “What I appreciated about his speech, a couple of things. One were the parallels that he made to World War II. That would be my father’s war. When we go to Poland, they talk about 1939 and Hitler, and had we stopped him at that point in time, we would have saved so much blood, and treasure from occurring, and what we’re seeing right now is a struggle for the global balance of power in the world, and that is Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. Chairman Xi in China is looking at Taiwan and then Putin in Ukraine. You cannot bifurcate these world powers, and they’re all against freedom and democracy in the west. I was worried that it would be politicized, but I thought he gave a tremendous speech that was inspiring to not only the United States but to the world.”

We will have to disagree on that. Russia had/has far more in common with Europe than Asia.

Exactly. Hitler himself sang a different tune to Mannerheim in 1942 as you are most likely aware of.

That is some fascinating audio, to hear Hitler in his normal speaking voice, it was much deeper than I would have expected.

Trump was well on his way, UNTIL Obama/Clinton decided to weaponize an election. They are now so deeply into the deception, the only way out is to destroy a country that is not our enemy. Russia has LONG been our ally. The time beginning in 1945 was another stategic miscalculation. The Americans could have easily used Patton and his idea to arm the German army to kick the USSR out of Europe. Then we could have simply ended the future Cold war easily. They left the table set like they did, to GUARANTEE future conflicts. Just like we didn’t support Chiang Kai Shek and push Maoists into a pit filled with lime.

“Answering a question you wish was asked instead of the one that was asked is a classic indicator that you know the truth is damaging to your position.”

Actually I didn’t answer it because I think it’s a silly question that doesn’t really deserve a serious reply. Is the world safer if an aggressive state like Russia has their conventional army wiped out? Of course it is. But it’s MUCH safer for Russia’s neighbors, since they are the only countries that Russia can actually realistically pose a threat to anymore.

“ This war has destroyed Putin’s ability to conduct war outside his borders.”

Conventional war, yes. Nuclear and asymmetrical he still has significant capability.

Agreed. Another fascinating speech is that one in the Sportpalast (?) about the “progress” of Fall Blau. Where he’s also understandably somber.

Not always easy to find online sorry that I don’t have the link. I think it was November 1942.

Even if Russia’s conventional forces are entirely wiped out, a dubious claim, they can build more. From what I understand, both China and India are still buying Russian oil. Plus, they are learning lessons from the Ukrainian conflict. One could more easily assert Russia will be stronger after this, i.e. newer equipment and battlefield experience.

Putin is like an unhinged Democrat :

He has forbidden all media and journalists daring to criticize the Russian Government.

True opposition parties are banned.

Conservatism is banned.

Only deep state Kremlin policies are allowed.

Government is king, Government is all over the place. No place for the individual in Russia.

There won’t be any more rouge Jack Ryan’s running around. All that is necessary to stop someone now is to activate the Jab poison pill. Washington can now deactivate any group of US soldiers as easily as they shutoff your car. Simply hit that unit with the liquid Jab juice and they drop dead on contact, or within a few hours. Makes for a Great Call of Duty too.

Putin is less populist than my wannabe-aristo abuelita.

Russia is run for and by a gang of gangs of oligarchs and mafiosi. Putin is the capo di tutti capi.
