A plus-sized woman said her husband loves her curves, but cruel strangers accuse her of being in a sham marriage with a man who is “out of her league.”
Gina Miyares, 28, and her husband Josh Miyares, 24, from Boston, Massachusetts, often have to deal with people calling Josh “gay” or claiming their marriage is “fake,” SWNS reported.
The loved-up couple has been married since August 2019 and has been trying for a baby. Ever since posting about their relationship and fertility struggles on social media, they’ve been inundated with rude comments.
“I’ve had people say: ‘Oh wow, I’m surprised you two are together as Josh is so active and fit,’ ” Gina said. “People don’t understand how you can love someone plus-sized.”
“They even say I look like a man, which is ridiculous, or they think Josh is secretly gay and pretending to like me,” Gina admitted.
Gina had a few words for the haters who think her relationship is “fake.” “They don’t know what it’s like to feel unconditional love,” the school resident director said.

Some men love curves; and even her curves have curves. No need to hang the laundry out there, though: just love, adore, cherish, treasure each other in privacy.
Am I against public display of affection? No.
Reminds me of a couple whom I know through my parents. The woman is a mousey, insecure, narcissistic leftist drunk but her husband is a masculine, well educated, intelligent, generous, charming army vet and successful private helicopter pilot for VIPs - and who’s gone a lot. There’s no WAY he’s not cheating on her!
He is a chubby chaser. Some men dig a big, soft woman. I had a buddy in college, fit and athletic and always picked the chubbiest girl in the room. These two seem a good fit, but the bikini pic was too much.
Nobody cared until she made a big deal out of it.
She deserves to be treated mean for seeking attention and providing no evidence for her claims.
Better question in: Why does she care what people she doesn’t know from Adam’s housecat think about her?!

But since this couple have put themselves out there on public display, inviting critique, allow me to say a few words...
The woman is actually quite nice looking, at least in the picture below. Sure, she could spend more time at the salad bar, but then again, most of us could use more salads as well.
I'll let the ladies here speak for the guy but he does come off to me as a little light in the loafers.
Yes they do, they like basketballs, donuts, beer kegs, pizzas, snowmen. They like tires too, but not around their woman’s waist. LOL
seems like exactly the kind of nerdy guy I would imagine being attracted to her.

a guy that like has probably dated very little or any. This could seriously have been the first girl that spread for him.
I really don’t care about the woman “spending a little more time at the salad bar” but what I definitely think she shouldn’t be spending ANY time in that white top, red bottom bikini that was in the linked article. The black one-piece she had was much more sane, IMO.
She is FAT, no question and that image isn’t helped one bit by posing for pictures with frigging ice cream cones in her hand. Sheesh...

If you look at all the pictures he only looks gay in the ones where he is wearing that trendy skinny geans look with a tailored tight fit shirt.
It makes almost any man wearing it look gay.
Because it’s a style made worn almost exclusively by gay men.
If she wasn’t blabbing their problems all over ‘Social(ist) Media’ few people would be saying bad stuff about them.
And SOME people can see beyond physical appearance and find something worth loving in people who aren’t all that great to look at.
Extraneous to the fact that her husband’s setting off people’s gaydar.
At minimum, the soy is strong in that one.
Well she is a “school resident director” which sounds troll-worthy, plus she’d be conventionally gorgeous if she lost the weight (never underestimate the bile of vain people who feel unattractive no matter what they do). It may be that she makes more than he does, and if she lost the weight and plucked the brows she would probably be out of his league, particularly if he sets off people’s gadar.
The age difference sounds negligible but I bet that will end up a challenge.
Odd thing to suspect. A man being attracted to overweight women seems at least as plausible as them being attracted to other men.
Decent chance she has PCOS, with the distribution of weight, fertility issues, and somewhat masculine appearance. I hope she finds treatment for whatever it is, but she shouldn’t live her private life so publicly.
