A plus-sized woman said her husband loves her curves, but cruel strangers accuse her of being in a sham marriage with a man who is “out of her league.”
Gina Miyares, 28, and her husband Josh Miyares, 24, from Boston, Massachusetts, often have to deal with people calling Josh “gay” or claiming their marriage is “fake,” SWNS reported.
The loved-up couple has been married since August 2019 and has been trying for a baby. Ever since posting about their relationship and fertility struggles on social media, they’ve been inundated with rude comments.
“I’ve had people say: ‘Oh wow, I’m surprised you two are together as Josh is so active and fit,’ ” Gina said. “People don’t understand how you can love someone plus-sized.”
“They even say I look like a man, which is ridiculous, or they think Josh is secretly gay and pretending to like me,” Gina admitted.
Gina had a few words for the haters who think her relationship is “fake.” “They don’t know what it’s like to feel unconditional love,” the school resident director said.

This is real news to the US media now. We have a fat gal victim and all those other folks that she said think her husband is gay for not being repulsed by her are horrible people. Imaginary though they may be. Either way they are mean people who do not know what love is like her and her him.

Having said that, who cares what they do. He can’t be ALL gay if they’re working at having a family. Just sayin’.

That is a possibility but not definite. Could be he is attracted to the same sex and has rejected that and decided to live a life that is pleasing to God.
I don’t see them as terribly different, in terms of looks. She’s overweight, and he looks something of a dork (and also a bit pudgy)

You are right. The comments from many are downright cruel. I suppose many of them would have said the same of my late hubs and me. He was a handsome guy and I am (well to put it kindly, I do clean up nicely.) not going to turn heads. But he was not gay. I was not a beard. He did really love me. Some men and women are not lasered in on current standards of beauty.

But this article isn’t about them. It is about her and her own poor self esteem and desire to punish others who she says are mean because she is fat.
