The White House is resisting calls from pediatric health groups to declare a national emergency due to the early surge in respiratory illness in children.
As seasonal flu, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), coronavirus and other respiratory viruses swarm the country, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Children’s Hospital Association argue an emergency declaration, which would grant providers additional funding and more flexibility from regulations, is the best and fastest way to help the overburdened health system.

They are using Covid lockdowns as an excuse to call for lockdowns every flu season now. Gosh, didn’t see that coming g.

The “flu” emergency used to be a given. Every fourth quarter, like clockwork we would be notified at the hospital that an emergency had been declared. This allow the use of “emergency” supplies.
This was financially important because our emergency stocks were in place to provide things like PPE, saline, and other stackable goods. The hospital would regularly draw down these supplies and re-order then late in Q1.
If you recall…this led to some significant supply problems at the start of the pandemic because the emergency supplies were drawn down already…and new stock could not be found.
A completely avoidable problem caused by accountants.
Flu? What is this flu they are talking about? I thought COVID killed the flu since no numbers on the flu were released for the past two years.
Seriously the government, media, big pharma and doctors have lost the trust of the American people. They sold their soul to make a buck and to win an election.
As far as the election goes it Americans may have overlooked the cheating if they elected someone that was competent but instead they installed a puppet which allowed the puppet master destroy everything they could.
Hey, let’s spend tax dollars moving and housing stupid people to warmer climates so there won’t be a need for their spawn to have these health “emergencies”, in the WINTER.
