Forgive for my ignorance. The guy is looking at at least five counts of murder and several more counts of attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon. How do ‘hate crime’ charges make anything legally worse for him? How many more ‘life-without parole’ sentences would he get?
Assuming he’s found guilty, he will never be a free man again.
The whole concept of “hate crime” is childish and goes against the principle of equal justice. It is a modern legal construct that is utter crap.
