“How does ten of billions of dollars constitute “the bare minimum” of support?”

Almost all of that money is vanishing back into US pockets. Ukraine has been told to be happy with 10% of the real amount.

Billions should be able to afford F-35s, Apaches, and ATACMS, but somehow the money has only been able to afford the most basic of supplies.

Yep

You here from Putars how weak and pathetic the Ukrainian army is. If that was the case, Russia should not be leaving what is supposed to be its territory.

“Ethnic Russians” are Ukrainians. Zelensky is a Russian speaker.

Kherson is indefensible with the current battle situation
Which the Ukes are discovering

Another civilian evacuation has started, this time by the Ukes, because civilian survival in a city without power, heat and food supplies is challenging at best

Meanwhile the Ukes have been rounding up anyone suspected of “ collaborating” during the 9 month Russian administration..at least a hundred executed and more “ disappeared”. Purges of the. “ liberated” areas seem to be a Uke priority.

Apparently the Russians still have good informers because they are actively and accurately targeting military targets in the city which remains under attack

Just some news from the “ other side” to balance information on the situation

Ethnic Russians have called the area home since Russia snatched the areas from the Turks.

Other than Crimea, the Russians are a minority in those territories. They are not a super-race that has the right to force the Ukrainian majority to be part of Russia because a minority of Russians live there. They should be allowed to live in those territories in peace, but as the minority alongside the Ukrainian majority in a united Ukraine. Russia is over-reaching in trying to annex those territories.

“Other than Crimea, the Russians are a minority in those territories.”

Lulz.
Does it help you sleep better at night?

Say Bye bye to those four Donbass regions and Crimea, Ukraine.
You misplayed with your ‘toys’ and now have lost the ability to ‘play’ with them ‘toys’......

The Russian Federation will give citizenship to any former Soviet citizen and their descendents if they want it. Also they can serve in the Russian Armed forces. Thus why you see Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Belarusians, ect in the Russian Army. They can also serve in Wagner group if they did a tour with their local Armed forces (CSTO only).

—”Russia has trucks.”

Then why is Russia leasing so many trucks from Europe?

Look closely at the photos of the trucks on the Putin bridge, before something happened to it.

One of the reasons they are short on trucks is that somehow, someone installed cheap Chinese tires on all the Russian trucks. The tires looked good in the many parades but other than that... not so good.

And you mentioned logistics, for unknown reasons Russia has stuck with the ancient methods of hand-loading trucks and ships. Nothing palletized no fork trucks and many of the conscript laborers like to enjoy a cigarette while working and that can have some terrible consequences.

As General Omar Bradley famously said: “Amateurs talk strategy. Professionals talk logistics.”

Logistics includes speedy transport to a hospital, and not abandoning their wounded comrades and dead as they run away.

“distant past”

American blacks remember 1619 to 1865 well. They’d like to ca$h in on old memories, and maybe before Kevin McCarthy sits in Pelosi’s chair.

Other folks remember 1848.

Many people in Ukraine speak Russian because Russian was the main language of the Soviet Union.
