Disgraced FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried is scheduled to speak at an exclusive conference hosted by the New York Times alongside Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.
The DealBook Summit, sponsored by Accenture, will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in Manhattan on Nov. 30 and features speeches from supposed luminaries such as Mark Zuckerberg, Mayor Eric Adams, former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and former Vice President Mike Pence.
The fee to attend the conference is a whopping $2,499, according to DealBook Summit’s website. A ticket includes mainstage conversations, VIP Networking Sessions, Breakfast and Lunch and a cocktail reception.
The goal of the conference is to hold conversations to reveal “hidden complexities, unexpected relationships and the wide-ranging ripple effects of change,” according to the event website.

No proof. Whole allegation that Ukraine sent large amounts of money to FTX is based on a tweet by FBI informant and convict Hal Turner, with no supporting evidence.

If FTX didn’t go bust the scam may have never been exposed by the feds.
Many in the stock market spoke of it many red flags but nobody did anything about it.

I would not bet on Fried showing up for this.
But standing next to the guy from FTX is just not something anyone would do. Why would that guy even speak at the event? Does he have lawyers?
I understand your position on Zelensky. But, based on your theory why would Washington want to put Zelensky anywhere near this guy? They want him to look “good.” This doesn’t make him look good.
My take is this whole thing isn’t going to happen.
If he was a conservative, he’d be arrested the minute he set foot on American soil.

It’s funny how many billions are spent on regulators in this country, and nothing seems to get exposed until after the collapse (Enron, Lehman, FTX, Bernie Madoff).
He has friends in high places who will go to bat for him so that he doesn’t go to jail for life like he deserves.
