I think a good test for ourselves is if we can remember
anything good someone did. With some people you can’t,
but with a guy like Trump, there is good that he did.
There’s no denying it. And if you can’t see it, you
need to start checking yourself out. You’ve got a very
bad attitude, and it’s not going to allow you to be
happy over time.

Maybe this guy just needs a little attitude adjustment.

I’d hope so.

Been here since 1999

I can’t argue with that.

My daughter works at a radio station and there was a staff meeting today . All of them attacked Trump in their business meeting .my daughter is a Trumper. She is still frustrated from the bombardment.

She was asked to do an interview by walker’s press sec. The runoff is in Dec.. GA
An interview mstill is not set up.. but the dem candidate is set up.

She is top producer of money for the radio station and the management like her. politics on the office and a job she liked is now a pile of disappointment. They took her desire to work hard .. do they know how wrong they are... No

It’s not the MAGA people who are the problem

No... it isn’t.

Conservatives have heart. They have compassion for others.

There’s no way I’d treat someone on the Left like they
treat us. If I had to defend myself, yes, but I’m not
going out of my way to harm them. I’m not going to harm
their property.

For all the talk about mean old Conservatives, it isn’t
mean old Conservatives you have to worry about. It’s
very mean young people who have been taught to hate us
like they hate someone they want to kill. I’m not
talking about Blacks either, although some are of that
mind.

I’m sorry she has to go through that, but I’d hope
she’s looking around for another place to work.

When she leaves she should just say it was time to
move on. If she tells her boss, that boss will tell
the other employees, and who knows what they would do.

She should leave and never look back.

Been here myself since Sept 2001.

I would assume we've seen most of the forms of FR "ridiculousness"... not ALL, but most.

Good point. The corruption runs deep. Who to trust? The crux of the matter.

Not for nothing, but Rick Scott put up, what I would call, a very feeble attempt to take on McConnell. First he put out a GOP agenda

Agree 100%. The GOPe allows the facade of competition to mollify the base. And that agenda Scott put out? What's with their desire to "fix" my social security? Stupid stuff put forward at the absolute wrong time.

Wouldn’t be surprised the GOOe coined that discription themselves. As a way to deflect from who/what they really are.
Lazy do nothings and corrupt.

Doesn’t work.
Ross Perot was the most popular 3rd party candidate.
I think he got somewhere in 20+% range of the pop vote.
But all it accomplished was allow clinton to get elected with 39% of the pop vote.
Which in a two way race would be pathetic.

Trump’s weakness is not seeing these people for who they really are.
Not that he isn’t aware that politicians are smarmy and even crooked.
He has dealt with many of them in a limited business capacity.
But as president he was knee deep in the swamp.
But I don’t think he was aware of just how dirty corrupt they are. And the depth they are willing to go to maintain their power and control.

I honestly believe that most presidents know exactly what they are up against.
That not to say..many of them..are not willing tools.
Or,against enriching themselves.

It is really inappropriate for outgoing senators to have a say in who will lead the next senate of which they will not be a part. That is a stupid senate rule.
