Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.
When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.
On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.
“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”
With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.
Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.
On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

I didn’t think it was, but thanks. I believe what is happening here is the same as everywhere else….a lot of agenda-driven influencers trying to shape individual thought.
Time for MAGA to start their own party, and watch the Republican Party flounder as it rightly should. Then they can blame each other, for there will be no one else to play their scapegoat anymore.
After all, they have been responsible for Trump even having to get involved in politics which I'm sure he never wanted to do in the first place. Otherwise, he would have gotten involved decades ago. They are responsible for letting the socialists get a major foothold in the government. They are responsible for letting graft & corruption gain a strong foothold in the government, destroying this nation while both parties have fleeced & raped the citizens of this nation.
The first five posters can hang with the useless Republican Party that the moderates have destroyed the once Grand Old Party, making it the Stupid Party for the last 60 years. They are a perfect fit for each other.
Meanwhile, we can grow a real party that has real values, and the desire to return to morals.
