Trump Launches Attack Blaming Mitch McConnell, Calls His Wife “Coco Chow”
The Free Press -- Tampa ^ | November 13, 2022 | Mike Jenkins

Posted on 11/13/2022 3:24:52 PM PST by karpov

Earlier this month, former President Trump said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) should be impeached if he backs a plan for the debt ceiling to be eliminated over fears that House Republicans could cause the U.S. to default on the nation’s credit.

When asked by conservative radio host John Fredericks about chatter surrounding the possibility of Congress effectively eliminating the debt limit, the former president lambasted the idea.

On Sunday, following the Democrat’s win and maintaining Senate control, Trump went on the attack.

“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Trump said Sunday. “Giving 4 Trillion Dollars to the Radical Left for the Green New Deal, not Infrastructure, was an even bigger mistake. He blew the Midterms, and everyone despises him and his otherwise lovely wife, Coco Chow.”

With Democrats maintaining Senate control, this keeps the path open for Biden to have his judicial and administrative appointments confirmed, even if the Republicans take the House majority.

Control of the US House still hangs in the balance and may not be determined for some time with ballots left to be counted in closely contested races in California, as well as other states.

On Saturday, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said at a press conference, “The race is now called in Arizona and Nevada. Democrats will have a majority in the Senate and I will once again be Majority Leader. This election is a victory. A victory and a vindication for Democrats, our agenda for America, and for the American people, There are three things that helped the Senate secure the majority. One, our terrific candidates, two, our agenda and our accomplishments and three the American people rejected, the anti-democratic extremist MAGA Republicans.”

Done some great things but he hasn’t done one thing alone as so many seem to think. He has a VERY, VERY, VERY supportive legislature that is just as responsible for what is going on in Florida.

Of course he hasn't done anything alone. But that's kind of the entire point.

DeSantis is great at building relationships with other people. He doesn't humiliate publicly members of legislature even if they cross him on an issue. He's been good at selecting his own staff who also are good at building relationships with other power centers in the state government. Put that all together, and you have a state's chief executive who can get things done because he works well with other people.

On the other hand, if you don't work on building those kind of relationships, and instead insult publicly people you will need to enact your agenda, it shouldn't be a surprise when not as much of your agenda gets enacted.

Agree with you..We need to move
on from Trump.. Trump’s personal
attacks on members of his own
party are a turnoff for many..
He makes it hard for many to want
to vote for him, and that matters.
Pushback the way DeSantis and Kari
Lake push back, with facts, not
stupid and immature attacks.

>>Except that their business is in China.

Except that it’s not. Foremost Group is in the business of chartering dry bulk ships to firms that ship commodities like iron ore, grains, bauxite, etc. They buy some of their ships from Chinese shipbuilders because that’s were ships are being built, along with South Korea and Japan. Their ships call on Chinese ports because China imports 70% of sea borne iron ore.

I voted for him twice to keep HRC and Biden out of the presidency. We need a younger, smarter candidate for 2024.

Trump lucked out in 2016 because the Democrsts nominated Hillary. Suburban women held their noses to vote for Trump. Also, the Democrats did ballot harvesting and other shenanigans in 2020. They didn't really do that in 2016 because they were overconfident and truly believed that Hillary was going to "make history". They got out of their "bubble" since then and they are dirty street Fighters. This is where we tell Trump to hit the showers and put in DeSantis.

For those with memories less than six years long, the DNC / GOPe called him a disaster in 2016 too. You’re in good company.

Not looking forward to next Tuesday.
Trump seems not to be using his natural skills to read the room. Maybe he thinks any less than supportive public response on his actions for the last weeks to be Fake News.

Trump is an idiot. And he’s a guaranteed loss for ‘24.

We have to call him out on it. And we have to call out FReepers who want to support Trump in the primary.

I am going to vote for DeSantis, Pompeo, Rubio, Cruz, Youngin in the primary before I will vote for Trump.

I love Trump but he's a loser right now who needs to shut up.

Murkowski voted against Kavanaugh and for Jackson.

McConnell spent money against the Republican running against Murkowski.

I’m not sure Murkowski and McConnell are Republicans.
