Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) offered a dismal message to Republicans after Tuesday's midterm election results as key Senate and gubernatorial races still hang in the balance after two days of vote counting.
"Why is it so close? In a state like Arizona, with a president with 40% job approval, with 8% inflation, with $4 gas, with crime rising everywhere, with fentanyl pouring over a border state like Arizona, why is it close? It should not even be close," Christie said on Brian Kilmeade's radio show Thursday.
"Without any of those things available to us in ‘14 and ’18, Doug Ducey won by 12 and 15 points, respectively, for governor. So, why are we talking about it here? It is the choice of candidates and the way they've approached these things that have hurt us in general elections in swing states," he added.

I know right? We would not only have an open border, we would have amnesty on demand.
Democrats would have 285 seats in the House and 60 in the Senate.
This of course is if Krispy Kreme became President.
George W Bush is hanging out on his ranch checking in with his buddy Karl and his other staffers from the White House days, hating on conservatives, loving on his dear friends, the Obamas, Michelle. Widely embraced by the social circles that used to hate his guts. How many people did he campaign for other than Liz Cheney in the Republican Primary? I don't know of any, do you? Jeb Bush, I don't know of any, do you? I'm just asking. So this person may be onto something (who said that after the more conservative or MAGA candidates won in the primary they refused to support them).

Graham’s sound bite was used all over the country. It was purposeful sabotage by a treasonous little prick.
It is a valid question. How can Democrats win with everything that’s going wrong?
One example: According to polls, 80% of voters oppose sex change (castration or mastectomies) operations on minors, yet California Democrats made their state a sanctuary for minors undergoing sex changes without parental approval.
Please don’t tell me all of this is due to election fraud. Even with fraud, ballot harvesting, and whatever else Democrats cook up, millions upon millions of Americans still vote Democratic.
The only explanation I can give for people I know who vote Democrat? They exclusively watch the MSM, hate Trump with amazing passion (even though they cannot rationally explain why), and blame Republicans for taking away their freedom to choose abortion. My body, my choice, and all that despite the fact that they can still vote for abortion on demand in their state should they convince a majority to support it.
Effective when they have decent candidates.
It’s all about the $$$ and media. Rats may have wasted millions on Beto and Abrams, but they had plenty left over to bombard TV viewers with ads in swing states.
The Supreme Court baked the cake, Linda just put icing on it.
Lindsey Graham sabotaged conservative Republicans by bringing up a nationwide abortion ban at the worst possible time. If it wasn’t intentional, he’s an idiot. First off, most Americans will never vote for a complete ban. Secondly, the SCOTUS just ruled that abortion isn’t a federal issue.
I personally believe he’s a saboteur in our midst.
We can beat the feminazis, but it requires Republicans showing up to vote in greater percentages.
Two factors:
1. Millions of new Gen Z voters, and
2. Abortion

For all his flaws, Chris Christie won two elections in one of the most reliably “blue” states in the U.S. He knows a thing or two about how political machinery works.
Having talked to this man (kids go to same school), I can say that he is just not that bright.
For sake of argument I agreed with him that the GOP needed to adjust its message (FOR THE SAKE OF ARGUMENT). I then asked if he could see that mail in voting had changed the game and that the GOP needed to adjust its election strategy.
His reply was a diatribe about paranoia and that it was “Trump nonsense” that mail in voting affects outcomes.
I decided that arguing with a fool would only make me more foolish and gracefully exited the convo.
Go block a bridge, fatso. You’re part of the problem.
Chris Christie warns GOP becoming ‘ineffective’ in general elections: ‘This shouldn’t even be close’, as he stuffed another carton of Oreos into his mug.

Christie endorsed a loser in Colorado Joe O’Dea who ran away from Trump and lost his Senate race.
I don’t recall seeing him out campaigning for anyone, maybe I missed all his massive rallies, and didn’t hear about the tens of millions he helped raise for the candidates.
You’re probably right, but the same criticism applies: you know they’re going to cheat and you don’t fight to stop them. In fact, at the leadership level, they undermined the fighters who tried to prove the fraud in 2020, making it 1,000x harder to actually combat it at the legislative level.
If anyone knows what ineffective is, it’s Christie
