No it could be a basic trend that voting is unpredictable and thus polling is worthless. I will continue to participate but not look on elections as a spectator sport. Folks are manipulated by the media and the politicians to think elections are more important than they are. It has always been this way .
Taking the focus off of his extremism and going to his health probably helped him as I feared. Creating sympathy for him as a “disabled American who wants to serve his state” took the focus off of him releasing murderers. Oz, let’s be honest, was not a good candidate, and he basically took a month off after the primary while Fetterman’s campaign went after him with both barrels out of the gate. Close races can be lost or won in the summer. Oz let Fetterman both define himself and Oz before Oz finally decided to get going - a very bad mistake considering Oz was not liked by a majority of Republicans at the start of the campaign.

I don’t know if it’s cheating. It’s possible there’s just a bunch of really stupid people out there. Someone said if we can’t win with gas at $4.00 a gallon, we’re screwed. Well, if the Democrats actually keep total control of the Congress, look out for $6.00 a gallon. Will that be enough? What about $8.00? I know this. Here in PA, the only candidate who had any money at all to advertise was Dr. Oz. Mastriano did not run one ad on TV. The candidate for the House, in a competitive district, ran zero ads. If we can’t get our message out, we’re going to keep losing.
It’s amusing to me that I have no idea who you are, have no recollection dealing you in other threads, but one innocent joke shows you have a hard on for me—cuz you know and remember me.
What happened in Florida should have been echoed through most of the nation.

Even $100 a gallon gas would make no difference. Everyone will just say we need more electric cars, windmills and unicorn farts…and they’ll believe it with every molecule of their being.

Should’ve happened 2 years ago… tonight is proving either electorate and/or/both machines has shown that the Pom Pom waving and screaming into the good night is just that…. “Fair & Free” … in this climate after two f’n years cannot wave red, good nite Irene.
