Rasmussen Reports ^ | October 28, 2022 | Rasmussen Reports

The 2022 midterm elections are now just 11 days away, and Republicans have a seven-point lead in their bid to recapture control of Congress.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that, if the elections for Congress were held today, 49% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 42% would vote for the Democrat. Just four percent (4%) would vote for some other candidate, but another five percent (5%) are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Nobody ever tells us why Democrats are increasingly hated. If this were flipped, they would be interviewing and featuring every pissed off person they could find.

Press Acts like it’s a Jeopardy game.

ABC News during their radio newesbreak is trying to help the Democrats the best they can in close battleground state Senate races. Yesterday, it was what was basically a free commercial for Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada. Today it was about the claims against Hershal Walker.

Newt predicts GOP may win up to 70 seats.

It is possible the Pelosi beak in actually helps us. It is an example of out of control crime. CNN is already going with the J6 narrative so we’ll see.

Maybe she just wants to get rid of him, maybe his drunk driving wreck was him coming back from a side piece or something.

"the 5% who aren't sure are going to shift republican."

Hardly a soul is unsure. But they tell that to pollsters to avoid being harangued, assaulted, or vandalized.

A lot of HOs-in-waiting are going to get the phone call telling them to release their prepared story to the media about the Republican male candidate. They’ll verify that the money is in their Swiss bank account, and they’ll call the media with their made-up story of rape 45 years ago.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2018/governor/fl/florida_governor_desantis_vs_gillum-6518.html#!

November 6, 2018 Gillum led DeSantis 49.4% to 45.8% giving the Democrats a comfortable 3.6% lead.

The “experts” predicted Gillum would win.

One HAS to ponder:

Why would ANY sentient American vote for ANY Democrat, for ANY office?

Given that the Democrat Party has been at war with ALL Real Americans throughout my adult lifetime, I am struck dumb that there is still one person in America who will vote Democrat?

FReeper thoughts?

“Stay tuned in 2 weeks when they blame the voters for “ending democracy as we know it.”

Yeah, in 2016 watching the Fla election results on TV, there were multiple talking heads who were upset that so many white people voted in Fla (because a majority of them voted for Trump). Suddenly, democracy didn’t seem so good.

70 is too high. There is a concept called “exposure” which limits what gains either party will have, simply because of how the district lines are drawn.

A +7 environment, would crack the 240+ ceiling. Getting to 250+ is very, very, difficult.

I do think that the GOP is definitely on track for cracking the 230 mark, with a very, good shot at breaking into the 240s I do think that 250 is out of reach.

Let’s home this isn’t like 1994 & 2010 where capturing congress lead to Democrats keeping the White House in the following presidential elections

Where was the cheating in Virginia last year, when the GOP CRUSHED the Dems at every level, after the Dems had led in the polls for most of the year?
