On Elon Musk’s first day in control of Twitter , the company has started laying off employees, including data engineers, self-identified former employees told CNBC.
A person who walked out of Twitter’s San Francisco headquarters and identified themselves as a Twitter data engineer said they were just laid off by their director in-person.

Get out you lazy leftist freeloading bums.
One man to rule them all,
One man to fire them,
One man to replace them all,
And in their misery bind them!.............
Pampered arrogant brats who got more power than anyone should have ever allowed. They defied the Constitution. I hope they end up rotted.
They are the scum of the earth. Just like Reddit’s lunatic monitors
Take a look at one of the books in his box...embrace the suck loser
You have to hand it to Musk, he spent a ton of money just so we can say controversial things like “men can’t get pregnant” again.
Employees are crying all the way to the bank.
Maybe he can get a job in a scammer call center in Mumbai.
He ‘identifies’ as Big Mike, LOL!
I remember feeling sad that so many people were losing their jobs when they had no part in the troubles that caused that firm's downfall. That made me feel better.
I know that with their qualifications they should have no trouble finding a top flight job in either the food service or house keeping industries.
yep, fire that one on site!
I’d guess you haven’t worked among software people. We aren’t flash dressers.
The Force is with us Darth Musk...The layoffs have begun
That’s what I wondered. Data is data. It doesn’t need to be engineered. Data can be collected, catalogued, massaged, manipulated, interpreted etc. But if you engineer it... well, then it’s fake.
From the Cambridge Dicionary:
censor: a person responsible for examining books, movies, works of art, or communications, and deciding whether to prevent parts or the whole of them from being seen or made available to the public because they are considered to be offensive or harmful, or because they contain information that someone wishes to keep secret, often for political reasons.
I bet a fraction of IT or tech people are first. Mostly it will be the censorship policy police, and useless to harmful folks like that.
I am sure they will just jump ship over to Google or one of their owned woke companies, like Youtube.
Adios, Achmed! ;)
