NASCAR announced Tuesday that it had suspended Bubba Wallace from the next Cup Series Championship event after his incident with Kyle Larson in Las Vegas Sunday.

After Larson's car forced Wallace's car into the wall, Wallace returned the favor by hitting the rear of Larson's car, forcing Larson's car to spin out. After the crash, Wallace got in Larson's face and pushed him.

Wallace had a tense conversation with a reporter after the incident, telling NBC Sports' Marty Snider to "stop fishing" for an answer he didn't want to give.

"My behavior does not align with core values that are shared by 23XI Racing and our partners, who have played a crucial role in my incredible journey to the top of this great sport," Wallace’s statement said.

"I want to apologize to NASCAR and the fans, along with Christopher Bell, Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota for putting them in a situation in the playoffs that they do not deserve.

I was watching the race, the point is Richard Petty had ZERO chance to win the race until Allison and Yarborough took each other out, they were a quarter lap or more ahead of everyone else.

It’s presumed guilt with accompanying punishment for such a nice, innocent black “trailblazer”

So it’s gotta be racism Blatant racism

The altercation is not why he was suspended. The high speed intentional wrecking of Larson is what caused it.

I’m pretty sure that Dale Sr. would have reacted quite differently.

Back in the day, we’ve seen Rusty and Dale Sr almost get into a fight one week, then the next walk out of the track together laughing and talking.

“HOW LONG did it take the team PR group to frame all that statement?”

Every “statement” along these lines made by any NASCAR driver is always scripted by PR staff members and never comes directly from the driver.

The giveaway in this case was that the statement wasn’t written in Ebonics.

Huge Dale Sr fan, but never could become a big Dale Jr fan. Isn’t he in the Hall of Fame?

Yeah, they were all bar buddies, and fighting and making up was part of the culture.

My cousin was a NHRA drag racing pro (it ultimately killed him), but he and Dale were very good friends, and used to hang out at the local beer joints together in Bristol in between races and practice.

The fans held grudges longer than the driver’s for sure.

NASCAR stopped being a great sport when they banned imports after getting humiliated by one... in 1954. American car development was retarded because they didn’t have to compete against non-American cars in their home racing series.

You’d think bubba’s sponsors would know when to cut bait.

Hint: not only intentionally wrecking another car in a rage, blowing off and pushing past multiple nascar officials, assaulting another driver...

but also wrecking his team’s other car and driver
( who is in the championship comp)

So let’s review the return on the sponsors investment.

Fail
Fail
Fail
Big a$$ Fail.

If he hadn’t taken out a Hendrick car, would it have been as severe a penalty?

/\

At least bubba sponsors don’t have to worry bubba might take out their other car again .

for one race at least.

His sponsors should dump bubbles all together.

There’s no upside to keeping him.

Progs don’t do nascar anyways, so why cater to them sponsoring a blm Marxist America hating black supremist lover of the rogue federal Bureau of Intimidation.

Bring Eric Holder back, as the Supreme Arbiter of Racial Equality and Justice in Nascar, a new cabinet position, with a salary of $385,000.
He could clear this up in just a few minutes.

I believe Michael Jordon owns Bubba’s team. He will stay in that car until a more suitable BLM driver gets to this level.

Re: "Could have been a deadly attack had Larson gone into a roll as a result."

That was my first impression.

If Wallace was white, he would be criminally charged - reckless endangerment - and suspended for life.
