I want everyone to think about why the replacement of oil with solar and wind and nuclear etc.... is such a blatant lie.
Why do “they” want to STOP drilling for oil in order to “save the planet” from greenhouse gasses?
If I may just offer a suggestion when you send emails, comment on websites, debate environmentalists, question politicians or contact journalist.
Ask them these questions when banning oil drilling is brought up.
1. How are we going to make medicines? Are we going to attach a windmill, solar panel or nuclear reactor to a lump of coal and process it.
In order to MAKE or MANUFACTURE a medicine there are certain compounds that are FUNDAMENTAL to the process.... and about 99% of them involve the use of chemicals that are carbon based made from oil refinement/distillation/chemical reactions.... there is no solar substitute... it f’ing STUPID to even say that.
2. Fertilizer is made by using chemicals that are petroleum based and chemical reactions that are created using carbon based benzene rings and other “organic” compounds.
3 Anything plastic...
4. Any computer chip.
5. Any instrument that is used to measure ANYTHING.
6. OR Solvents HOW DO WE MAKE ANY OF THE FOLLOWING??? ...

Anyone that even argues that we can “ban oil” is a fool and should be dismissed as a lunatic or worse... someone that willfully wants to end civilization. They are dangerous and should be locked up.

Silly me. Given Army commercials, I’d have thought that pronouns, academically laughable thesis by folks who couldn’t qualify to dig ditches, and the inability to meet recruiting goals might perhaps be a bit larger of a threat to national security. (I was career military. When it was actually a professional military.)
Didn’t these a-holes just miss recruitment goals by 25%?

They’re pushing it. No reason not to. So far we haven’t reacted . This is an artless lie and they’re pushing it. This cannot end well. It when they are this simply stupid it is a guarantee of big trouble coming down the pike.
This clown show is going to get us all killed.
I burn about 1000 lbs of JP8 per hour in the Apache helicopter. I fly on average three hours per day, five days per week. There’s about 100 sorties per day at my installation. And that’s just the Apache.
This is ludicrous policy that has no chance in succeeding at its stated goal. But it will take me out of the cockpit to receive “climate sensitivity training.”
I’m retiring, just not soon enough.
