A Vermont high school is cracking down after female students complained about a transgender student in their locker room — and the school’s solution is to ban the girls from their own locker room.
According to a report from local CBS News outlet WCAX, the controversy arose when a transgender teammate allegedly made remarks that made some of the others on the team uncomfortable.
The school informed parents via email that officials were investigating claims that the girls on the team had harassed their transgender teammate. But in the interim, the transgender student is still allowed full use of the locker room while the others have been relegated to a single-stall bathroom to change one at a time.
“It’s a huge thing. Everyone’s asking, ‘So, why aren’t you allowed in the locker room?'” Blake Allen, a member of the volleyball team, told reporters. “My mom wants me to do this interview to try to make a change. I feel like for stating my opinion — that I don’t want a biological man changing with me — that I should not have harassment charges or bullying charges. They should all be dropped.”
Allen went on to note that none of the girls on the team had taken issue with playing alongside the transgender student — or even with that student or others who are still biologically male using the female restrooms. Their sole issue was in sharing a locker room, where often they were all changing clothes together.
“There are biological boys that go into the girl’s bathroom but never a locker room,” Allen explained. She also said that the school’s temporary fix — having all of the girls use one single-stalled restroom while the transgender student had access to the locker room — made no sense to her.
“They want all the girls who feel uncomfortable — so pretty much 10 girls — to get changed in a single stall bathroom, which would take over 30 minutes. Where if one person got changed separately, it would take a minute, like no extra time,” Allen explained, arguing that it made much more sense for the one transgender student to change in the bathroom.
According to the Vermont Agency of Education, transgender students should not be forced to use the bathroom or locker room that does not conform to their gender identity.
“The use of restrooms and locker rooms by transgender students requires schools to consider numerous factors …” The AoE policy reads, but it later adds, “A transgender student should not be required to use a locker room or restroom that conflicts with the student’s gender identity.”
In college they taught us it is both cruel and dangerous to participate in someone’s delusions.
Indulging these hormonal peeping toms in this manner is what expressly empowers them to do what they are doing. I strongly suspect/expect that this problem doesn’t exist in the districts where the “trans students” are not so well accommodated.
The existence of such districts is becoming increasingly scarce, though.
This is why I think the Democrats will get crushed during these midterms. There is no way they are gaining any new voters. They are only losing voters.
At some point, the actual women need to just walk out. If the schools and the state are going to play this stupid game, let them play with their own balls.
All those ‘immigrants’ pouring over our southern border are devout Catholics, for the most part..............
The solution..........................
When is the nickel going to drop in these girls heads that THEY are the team?
“Title IX......................”
Yeah, Title IX, a very badly written and inconsistent one way document.
Under Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972:
No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving “federal financial assistance.”
Unfortunately there are no sports that women can’t compete in. However there are sports that men cannot compete in and/or no program exists that has for many years, also because of budgeting problems. It is difficult to create sports opportunities with the same budget as las year when it is being raided by other parts of the education needs.
It also creates the opportunity to misuse funds:
“One Wisconsin school district built a new football field. In Iowa, a high school weight room is getting a renovation. Another in Kentucky is replacing two outdoor tracks — all of this funded by the billions of dollars in federal pandemic relief Congress sent to schools this year.
The money is part of a $123 billion infusion intended to help schools reopen and recover from the coronavirus pandemic. But with few limits on how the funding can be spent, the Associated Press found that some districts have used large portions to cover athletics projects they couldn’t previously afford.
Critics say it violates the intent of the legislation, which was meant to help students catch up on learning after months of remote schooling. But many schools argue that the projects support students’ physical and mental health, one of the objectives allowed by the federal government.”
The people are still arguing over this one with not even a decision on the shape of the table yet. Like I said, badly written and questionably misused.

I’ve got a novel solution. All the girls on the team should just say “I’m a boy now” and then they will be allowed to use the boy’s locker room to change in and the tranny will be stuck in the girl’s locker room alone.
Why are the parents such wimps? The girls should quit with advertising and great fanfare, with a press release, with a formal, legal statement to the school, the Board of Education, the governor and the state and national association for the sport, the mayor, governor, senator, state and national elected representatives and lot of websites. They can set up their own new private leagues across the country outside the insanity of their own schools. If the locals YMCAs won’t allow them to use the facilities, the Y will lose members across the country. Vollyball could be played in space at a supportive country club, parochial schools, etc. Under no circumstances should they cave to this lunacy.
Did you watch Sunday night Football last night?
The NFL was bragging about their inclusiveness.
Female Referees, Female assistant coaches, Female owners...................
Those that can should HS...or private School
The boy’s teams need to step up and allow the girls to use their locker room and stand guard for them.
If women can’t be defined, it’s OK to hate them.
They’re not real people.
Yep, putting it right in our faces.
