NATO has sent an intelligence note to its member countries warning of the mobilization of the Russian nuclear submarine 'K-329 Belgorod', carrying the Poseidon nuclear missile, also known as the Weapon of the Apocalypse, the Italian daily 'La Repubblica' reports Sunday.
The new submarine was launched in July and is now reportedly submerged in Arctic waters after its possible involvement in the sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines, according to several unofficial sources.
NATO fears that its mission is now to test the Poseidon super torpedo, a projectile capable of traveling up to 10,000 kilometers underwater and then exploding near the coast to cause a radioactive tsunami.

Through the hysteria and hyperbole, the reporter has confused even the most basic facts. Don’t believe the hype.
The ‘Poseidon’ nuclear-powered torpedo is designed to bypass such existing defences. It is intended to travel quietly — and quickly — through the world’s oceans and cross intercontinental distances. Once near a key target, its nuclear warhead will detonate.
The resulting shockwave and vaporised body of water is expected to generate an unstoppable tsunami.

I doubt seriously this sub was involved in the pipeline explosions. The West would have known it was in the Baltic Sea.

The point I was responding to was the inaccurate statement made my a poster that they were loud...they are not.
And, yes, of course Russia had nothing to do with blowing up their own pipelines. No honest, serious person believes that they did. Speaking of which Col. Douglas MacGregor said during an interview Friday that the Germans do not believe the Russians were involved in any way. New Polls (and German parlimentary votes) indicate the Germans do not want to send more weapons and they want peace negotiations.

Once even a tactical nuke is utilized, escalation will be rapid. USA has most to lose in a nuclear conflagration. Our country is 10 times more dense than Russia. We have 3 timne zones and Hawaii. Russia is spread over 12 time zones. For what purpose we want to risk this? To save most corrupt country in Europe and it’s Soros bot leader?
