The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he thought the leaks would "not have a significant impact on Europe's energy resilience". Neither pipeline is transporting gas at the moment, although they both contain gas.
Mr Blinken did not directly accuse Russia - but said it would be in "no-one's interest" if they were caused deliberately.

Should be doable to investigate and determine who did this from various standpoints. I don’t believe the truth is coming out anytime soon. The silence is telling.

Tucker was all over this last night, featuring pretty damning videos of Biden and “Nukland” threatening the end of Nordstream, if Russia invaded Ukraine.
If you will recall from, oh, centuries ago, Trump told the Germans to get off the Russian gas tit, and start by stopping Nordstream II. In this he was continuing US policy over decades. The US was always opposed to Euro dependency on Russian gas.
It was Biden who finally signed off on Nordstream II in order to spite Trump, mainly, and also to make the Germans happy.
The Germans got themselves into this, and are well along in getting out of it. Thats a good thing.
Somehow I suspect the Ukrainians with US equipment. They’re the only group I can see benefiting from it. If the US did it we will lose Europe as an ally.
If it was the Ukrainians that did it it would be very cool. These things are Russian state property (Gazprom).
After what the Russians have done to Ukrainian infrastructure, well, turnabout is fair play. And simple justice.

The Euros are already committed to cutting the gas link with Russia long term. The effect of this is to preclude backsliding. Its like Cortes burning his ships.

No it isn’t. Not at all. This isn’t the Navy of a previous generation…but even more importantly, this isn’t the U.S. command structure of a previous generation.
Some may have been wondering why I have been in the corner with Russia when it comes to the strife between Ukraine and Russia, while most people lament and feel sorry about those poor Ukrainians, well I do too. Considering that the fraudulent elections in the Ukraine in 2014 which brought that comedian to power was just the final straw to get this conflict started.
Even many years before this conflict turned bloody, the US as well as some of the driving forces attempting to bring about the so called “New World Order” had an ax to grind with Russia as they realized they could not control Russia neither would Russia fall in line with some of their ridiculous actions and demands. The people pushing the so called “New World Order” along with the help of many brainwashed and corrupt politicians in the west, who are the same pushing the green agenda, opposing global warming, are for reducing and culling the population, open borders, forcing vaccinations down peoples throats as well as initiating lock downs, attempting to force farmers to cull their herds, especially in the Netherlands, but not exclusively.
One reason given was to limit cow farts supposedly producing too much CO2 and preventing people from eating too much beef, hence some of the large scale demonstration by farmers. And the list goes on. So they had to find way to get Russia out of the picture and needless to say they could not just declare war and had to go about it the round about way, and the way was using the Ukraine as a proxy. They started over a decade or more ago to twist and turn people’s minds very similar what has taken place her in the US to get people riled up against Russia. Something very similar and related in nature happened to former president Trump as he was another one who would not go along with their crazy agenda and stood in their way so he had to go, via fraudulently rigged elections. And before they will allow him to run again, chances are that they may try to silence him by force if he doesn’t go away willingly.
Granted, the life in Ukraine under Russian influence may not have been the most desirable but it was not the worst either as there are far more unpleasant places. So the US along with their accomplices keep pounding away on Russia using the Ukrainians as their proxy, not surprisingly that Russia took issue for what I can’t blame them. In some ways it would be comparable to Texas declaring their independence and getting lined up with Russia and when the US doesn’t approve of it, Russia steps in supplying Texas with all kinds of war material.
Maybe now you may realize why I am not in favor of what the US is doing as I believe it was brought into being by the US in first place and now they try to keep it going for as long as they can. Aside all that, now they are brainwashing the public into believing that all the Ukrainian’s wanted was just a “Free” country and of course most of the public being pretty simplistic when it comes to politics is lapping it up hook line and sinker, just like they fell for that ill conceived vaccination scheme.
Needless to say, it really doesn’t matter what I feel, think or believe but in this particular conflict if feel that the US along with its misguided cohorts are the cause for this conflict and unless they come to their senses it may turn into something much worse.
I hope before long, that this whole issue will somehow be resolved and come to a peaceful solution and the bloodshed will end, but I am not very optimistic.
