The late-blooming 2022 Atlantic Tropical Storm season is making up for lost time. A tropical system has developed in the Central Caribbean Sea. This storm system is forecast to threaten continental U.S. interests next week. While the tropical wave passed south of a key geographic area known as Hebert's Box #1, it will very likely pass through Hebert's Box #2. These boxes are useful as predictors of hurricanes that will strike South Florida. For more information about Hebert's Boxes, see Hebert Box. See graphic below which illustrated the Hebert's Boxes.

Not only that, but Rockport has been invaded since Harvey. The population is up dramatically. Land being clear cut left and right for new homes. Flooding will always be a problem. South side always floods on a light rain.

Stay safe!
Fort Myers is definitely going to have some major damage. It is a relatively large area and it remains to be seen how far that water is pushing inland.
I have heard of reports of 12 feet of water at Fort Myers Beach. That area will have some severe damage.

Right. But there were a number of houses that survived that 1900 Galveston Hurricane.
Here is one of them: https://www.chron.com/homes/article/galveston-home-zillow-for-sale-hurricane-historic-16379747.php
I picked up the app he’s using with the stats for the storm chasers. Pretty cool. It ain’t free and you have to pay extra for the 3D stuff.

What’s it say when a guy live-streaming from his basement provides superior coverage to that of some networks?
Of course, he’s not trying to advance “The Narrative”.
Some water running down the steet is one thing. Several feet in a urban area is anther.
Frightening.
Been watching him all day. Better coverage than the Weather Channel hysteria by an order of magnitude.
That is really scary. Gives those of us who are far away a slight idea of what you're going through in Florida.
So true. He’s got a small team of nerds behind him feeding info. All for pennies compared to the networks. We are the news.
Could Jim Cantore be anymore full of himself?!?!?
