Attorney: Migrants were kidnapped (OMG alert)
MV Times ^ | September 15, 2022 | George Brennan

Posted on 09/16/2022 5:19:17 AM PDT by DoodleBob

An attorney who specializes in immigration law says what happened to the 50 people brought to Martha’s Vineyard may be considered kidnapping.

Rachel Self, an Island attorney, issued a statement saying that she is looking at potential legal avenues after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took credit for sending the 50 people to Martha’s Vineyard on two planes.

“The response to this crisis among the legal and humanitarian communities, and the Martha’s Vineyard community at large, has been nothing short of incredible,” Self wrote. “The people who arrived last night are not alone, and we will make sure they know it – this is what our community is all about. We welcome them, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity to help them in any way we can.”

Self said she will pursue all legal remedies. “We believe they are victims of kidnapping, and the perpetrators of this breathtakingly cruel political stunt should know that it may well result in every individual who was induced onto those planes by fraud becoming eligible for a U visa. A U visa is a nonimmigrant visa granted to victims who cooperate with law enforcement, prosecutors, or other authorities in the investigation of a crime, and in the First Circuit (the Federal jurisdiction which includes Massachusetts), people with pending U visas are protected from deportation,” Self wrote. “We call on federal, state, and local authorities to collect and preserve evidence, beginning with the tail numbers of the aircraft used in the commission of this offense. Using human beings – families and children – as political pawns says far more about Governor DeSantis’s callousness and disregard for human life than it does about the people of Martha’s Vineyard.

Democrat talking points.

Whenever individuals from different groups all latch on to the same thing (in this case “kidnapping” you know it is coming from the DNC.

The “case” will be thrown out of court but she will make a name for herself.

Martial law is the antithesis of vigilantism.

It can be argued that the initial shipment of migrant trash to MV is in fact an act of a vigilante governor. At present there are two such vigilantes at work and acting positively

What’s more, here just before the election, these active vigilantes have struck a nerve. The reaction to the Martha’s Vineyard shipment can only result in many more. It might be that funds are collected privately to allow Texas and Florida to send unlimited migrant trash to Massachusetts.

In days of old, we here at Free Republic could raise $25,000 for such an effort in perhaps just two days.

An attorney who specializes in immigration law says what happened to the 50 people brought to Martha’s Vineyard may be considered kidnapping.>>>>>>>>>>>

And the Dems kidnapped them from the Vinyard to Falmouth! They wanted to stay on the Viyard.

But the lawyer is really all wet. The reason this will never fly, and he would never DARE to go to court is that Abbot and DeSantis could use a clause of the Constitution in their defence, which would expose the DEM WASHINGTON THUGS FURTHER, if the Federal Governmentabandons its constitutional duty, both DeSantis and Abbot are free to use their state police powers.

US CONSTITUTION , ARTCLE 4 Section 4:

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence."

Its not kidnapping when the Dems do it in the dark , in the middle of the night in Texas , Arizona and New Mexico? BUahahahahahahahaha!

If these illegal aliens are victims of kidnapping, then all the ones the Biden regime has been flying and busing all over the place are also kidnappings.

Rachel Self should lose the ability to practice law.

It’s as if the deep state, which really is a thing, has gigantic office buildings filled with their minions who’s job is to come up with the most damaging-to-the-country notions and actions possible. They fling their shit against the walls, literally and figuratively, and whatever isn’t immediately ridiculed and shown to be fraudulent goes out to the masses. Bonuses awarded for the dumbest most damaging ideas they can think of.

Is that about right?

Anything Republicans do is illegal and should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

Democrats? IT'S ALL GOOD.

Citizen protections only apply to citizens, laws apply to all. Commit a crime, pay the price.

There we go... another D attorney recruiting litigants for her class action lawsuit to sue the American people. (Any determination of Kidnapping would probably have to be determined by a DA in the state where the alleged kidnapping happened, Florida or Texas.)

If there is a civil trial, I hope the respondent political entities point out that the litigants have no standing to sue as they are here illegally and that If there is any settlement that they immediately will file to subrogate away any settlement the Illegals realize to pay for any for any benefits that they stole as illegals.

” Migrants were kidnapped” ???

Ha! They wee ‘kidnapped the instant they let the US Liberals convince them to leave their homes and come to the US for free stuff!

If anyone wants to say that Texas and Fla. are politicizing the immigrants, maybe they ought to GET that Liberals politicized the immigrants to begin with, by throwing open the boarder!!!!

Kidnapped! Oh my goodness. Well, then let's promptly return them home ... to Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela, where-ever they came from and I'm sure the sanctuary cities will be happy to buy the plane tickets. Otherwise, it ain't kidnapping to land in Martha's Vineyard if it ain't kidnapping to land in Arizona, Texas, Florida, etc.
