Well, now, considering the FBI’s penchant for LYING, is it too far fetched to believe that the SPECIAL AGENTS did some twerking?
Maybe they were filled with great info...but, we will never know because:

Putin didn’t want the folders so Trump was planning to stuff them with blank paper and try to trick Xi into buying them.

The safe was empty too. Sounds like they are looking for something, but probably aren’t looking for what they told the judge they were looking for, because they are looking for something they want to shred so it never sees the night of day. They thought they had a box of files but realized they contained nothing like what they wanted, and threw the empty folders down in disgust. And, maybe the empty folders were retained deliberately, a flipping bird to send a message back to their masters that what they are looking for is out of their reach.
Maybe they then took the weird pics of the folders and gave them to the press to let whoever sent thair ring leaders know what the message was, without personally risking being recorded or leaving a paper trail, or by holding a meeting to discuss their plot.
Sounds as good as the theories the press is selling.
Maybe they are still looking for Pelosi’s laptop or the Democrat House servers that went missing on Xavier Beccera’s watch to hide what the Pakistani ISI was doing running the Democrat House server.
MSNBC and president swalwell will allege that the folders’ contents were sold to Putin.

Reminded me of this old joke:
An old man lived alone in Idaho. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work.
His only son, Bubba, who used to help him, was in prison.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
Dear Bubba: I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won’t be able to plant my potato garden this year. I’m just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me. Love, Dad
A few days later, he received a letter from his son.
Dear Dad: For heaven’s sake, Dad, don’t dig up that garden. That’s where I buried the BODIES. Love, Bubba
At 4 am. the next morning, FBI agents and local Police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left.
That same day, the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Dad: Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. It’s the best I could do under the circumstances. Love, Bubba
Uh oh, the FBI probably gave them to a Russian and the FBI will magically find that Russian.
