You see how tricky they can be, conflating two different things.

We DO NOT need a national police force, armed to the teeth, and used to intimidate the people.

It's similar to the British moving troop headquarters from Halifax to New York and then landing troops in Boston to intimidate and quell any rebellion (unsuccessfully it turned out).

Asa Hutchinson has become quite the liberal tool of the media. Thank God he's gone in January. He was a McConnell minion when in the Senate.

There’s a difference between supporting any and all law enforcement, and supporting DIRTY COPS. There are some rotten apples in every profession and nobody supports them. The FBI just happens to be swimming in corruption currently.

There’s a huge difference between Constitutional Law Enforcement and an armed political arm of government that has been corrupted to the core.

The Uni-Party loves their armed political stasi.

Remember, no matter how far, wide, and deep the corruption may appear, it’s actually a lot worse.

For me, the guy who is going to pay the biggest price for this kind of nonsense is Ron DeSantis.

That’s because I have no intention of ever voting for another lawyer in any election.

Those folks on the ground do extraordinarily heroic efforts to enforce our rule of law, which is fundamental to the Republican Party and to our democracy,” he told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

I stopped reading right there.

Constitutional Republic!

Every time I see/hear that now I think 'our Deep State'.

Asa Hutchinson has let it be known that he has sided with the Deep State/the Establishment.

He is another example of how the enemy isn't just the Democrat Party.

The enemy is the Deep State.

Trump knows this, which is why the Deep State is out to destroy him. Trump and his army of voters are an existential threat to the Deep State.

And the Deep State is an existential threat to our freedom.

He’s a pathetic excuse for a Republican

The “media” can count on tools like him, Pence, Graham, Cheney et al to give them the sound bites they request

Like clockwork with these bastards

Hey Asa, you assa, do you remember a cop from New York, one of the largest Police Departments, named Serpico??

Serp saw CORRUPTION and did something about it.

When the leaders of the Law Enforcement Agencies create a Cancer among the ranks...there MUST be those good souls who come forward.

It appears that this is exactly what is happening.

Praise the LORD.

ASA, when the Law turns BAD...good people cease to support them.

Are you too stupid to figure that out????

“because they were just doing their job”

Whenever a “Republican” uses the “just following orders” justification, I like to remind him that nobody saved their neck at Nuremberg with that defense.

if “law enforcement” is unlawful, is it law enforcement?

if “law enforcement” is allowing itself to be used as a political secret police, is it really law enforcement?

“The FBI is simply carrying out their responsibilities under the law, a lawful search warrant that a magistrate signed off on”

What if those warrants aren’t lawful after all, governor. You know, like the FISA warrants of the past?

Law enforcement is an action, not an entity. I support the enforcement of the law. I do not support entities who were created to enforce the law, but instead violate it or enforce it only on certain groups. Governor is playing word games.

An old western sheriff who abused his power to hang an innocent man is not Law Enforcement. He is a criminal.
