A Republican-led House in Congress will hold Dr. Anthony Fauci accountable, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said Monday following Dr. Anthony Fauci’s announcement.
“Dr. Fauci lost the trust of the American people when his guidance unnecessarily kept schools closed and businesses shut while obscuring questions about his knowledge on the origins of COVID,” McCarthy said Monday, adding, “He owes the American people answers,” McCarthy said Monday.

So who’s going to hold McCarthy accountable?
There are many important things the GOP congress could do besides chasing Fauci. First thing is to make a list of 10 important things the country wants and needs and campaign on those things for the midterms before it’s too late. The very first thing on the list should be closing the border and finishing the wall.The second thing is shutting down the January 6 committee. Chasing Fauci is a waste of taxpayer money and time. They can investigate Fauci forever and nothing will happen.
Depends on how you define “accountable”. They just ask him some questions and they accept his answers. Held accaountable.

Probably so. But I guarantee that democrats will ignore any subpoena given. They aren’t going to go voluntarily. Republicans did that pretty much so it’s going to be a mess from here on out. Holder really started it but that was one person. Multiple people ignored subpoenas the last few years.

McCarcass will schedule a series of intense, powerful hearings, to determine whether they should send Foulcheese a strongly worded letter, or a letter which is worded strongly.
Sure he will, is he going to hold Fauci accountable for all the deaths he caused in his handling of AIDS also? Fauci has a lot of blood on his hands and is the true Angel of Death in the 50 years he has been in public service.
He should definitely face serious legal consequences for all his deadly malfeasance over all those years, but somehow I don’t think Kevin McCarcass is going to be the person to deliver that deserved justice (unfortunately).

Something about McCarthy doesn’t sit right with me. He comes across as a slickster, soothe talker.
I hope I’m wrong, but I wouldn’t bet money on his horse.
You’d better first concentrate on getting the majority first. That’s not a given.
Kinda like how they repealed the ACA? Or how they “held Hillary accountable?” How about how they investigated Obama’s birth certificate? That was really eye opening.
The Republicans are as dead to me as the Democrats. If you’re a politician of substance, like DeSantis, who actually ACTS and doesn’t just tell us that they will, then I’ll gradually warm up to them provided they don’t stray from their ethic.
Our establishment career politicians are megalomaniacal egoists. A true representative would actually be out there working to represent us, not the God forsaken party.
