Grifting is big biz in DC. You get insider trading info, huge book deals and all the PAC money you can siphon.

Let’s be clear, the SWAMP is real and the Potomac River is it’s moat.

The whole city is infested with grifters. But, what’s new??

Two ways that I can think of:

1) Siphoning excess campaign funds

2) Insider trading

~~~
You forgot the oldest trick in the politician’s book.
Gifts, donations, paid trips, book deals, speaking engagements, and board positions.... all after taking 15 minutes to listen to lobbyists explain the finer points of [fill in the blank] all with lots of winks and nudges.
Or,.......
3) Selling her soul to the Devil.
“She didn’t report any earned income, gifts, or transactions on her disclosure form.”
Capital gains aren’t earned income, and they don’t need to be listed as transactions until you sell the asset. So she’s probably playing the stock market, completely unassisted by any insider knowledge that she gains by virtue of her political position, I’m sure. All the congress critters are just the luckiest stock pickers on the planet.
Easy answer. The elected reps who make millions while serving make money in the stock market based on confidential information. Hell, my portfolio went up amazingly in the last six years, until Brandon.
No matter how she got it she's still a rotten person, she's a diamond studded turd. Big whoop.
The love of money is the root of all evil
Too bad so many people believe money is the key to happiness. That's never true. And when you die with that hole in your heart only God can fill
Given the amount of money these people casually toss around a bribe (there, I've said the "b" word) is nearly unnoticeable to the briber. Burisma had a revenue of $400 million that year they were paying Hunter Biden a mere $83,000 a month for a total of just shy of a million a year. Think they felt that one bit? Companies make billions from the pork-laden bills such as the ludicrously named Inflation Reduction Act. Or, for that matter, a little war or two, which Trump certainly didn't start for them. Ten percent for the Big Guy isn't just a figure of speech.
The FBI goons would love to raid Tucker’s home. He better be very careful and have numerous kill switches. Up until now they have not acted because he is something of a lone voice and they have made the strategic decision to leave him be. That can change quickly.
Well maybe she got it because she inherited her Daddy Dick Cheney’s gravitas.
There’s also her “family” trust fund. My guess it’s money from all that stinking Dick Cheney’s time taking kickbacks from the MIC while he and ‘W’ pretended to be conservatives.
Sorry. They will not be held accountable. The best Americans can do is push for term limits. That will not happen either.
That's the scam the DC swamp was afraid of Trump exposing.
So they had to work hard to destroy him.
