IMO, there is no American military anymore. It’s a hobbled, crippled semblance of a once-proud and distinguished force.
Today, it’s nothing but ‘woke’ BS and I’ll be damned if I ever recommend anyone - son, daughter or grand child to join it. It got this way because of leftist filth and RINO acquiescence.
I pity the service people who enlisted for 4 years under Trump, and now may find out that they are mandatorily extended, extended, extended because of low new enlistment numbers.
The old reasons for joining, the drill instructor would change you, the discipline was good for you, and the GI Bill.

Let’s face it, “Come join the military, we’re a cauldron of social change and will correct your racist, sexist, and trans-phobic ways” is kind of a tough sell. How the current administration feels about military members was shown in glaring stage lights when for pure political theater it rejected a settlement in Afghanistan and as a result took the first 13 combat deaths in 20 months, meeting the coffins on the tarmac with a perfunctory contempt when they came home. Those images are hard to forget.

They were also hoping to recruit thousands of illegal border crossers into the military in exchange for amnesty. Guess what? Those are macho men who won’t put up with the rainbow mob agenda.
