Republican Senators knew what an asshole Garland was when he was nominated for the Supreme Court. That’s why they stalled his hearings, and his nomination never came to a vote. But yet, these same Republican Senators, who knew this guy was an asshole, confirmed his sorry ass to be in control of the Department of Justice, where he could do as much damage there, as he could on the Court. And the sad thing is, that Biden might still be able to nominate him for the Court, and with the Republican morons currently in the Senate, they’d probably vote for him too.

To be fair , iirc, he used the word “ involved “ , not participated.

It was in response to his interviewers comment, he was chuckling in the reply as if it amused him.

Garland as Deputy AG during Clintons reign, could not find it in him to approve a search warrant/raid on the Uni-bomber. He is on record as refusing to do it. It took Janet El-Reno to approve the raid.
