America is going to look like Cuba, where people are still driving 50 year old cars.
Imagine the Daytona 500 in silence.............................
Ok. Let them go bankrupt.
Hope they save the engineering blueprints for when mass reality sets in eventually.
So Big Oil will remain mute and just go along with the AGW fallacy and facilitate lithium wastelands?
If you so happen to have one of these in your garage in 20 years, you can expect it to be confiscated without compensation by the enviro-Nazis.
That is, if we still have a country in 20 years.
Just....criminal.
You’ll be sorry!!
I’ll bet there are plenty of marketing experts at GM right now who can tell you electric cars are not going to work for the majority of their consumers.
But these same marketing directors intend to keep their jobs for now.
Even if you don’t qualify for the $7,500, the price of the car went up $7,500. Surprise, surprise. The car makers are raising their prices an amount equal to the federal credit.
I wonder where they plan to get all the electricity once every idiot, including millions of illegal aliens, are driving an “electric” car. Sometimes it doesn’t pay to think retarded. People are going to have to make “choices”. Charge the cellphone, turn on the AC, or charge the battery on your car. You aren’t going to be able to do them all and it is going to cost you if you do.
The people that buy these cars like them for the V8. They don’t want to contend with charging stations and range anxiety. This will be a $60k+ car and a huge mistake.
Maybe AMC can make a comeback and become America’s ICE manufacturer. Sell updated Eagles and AMX’s. I can dream anyway.
Suicide is painless.
It brings on many changes...
Big mistake.
From MOPAR to Fiat........ that is the journey.
Like present day Volkswagen, Fiat-Chrysler is an amalgamation of failing car manufacturers all trying to save brands that are incapable of surviving alone. Chrysler is one of those near failures.
Chrysler is Jeep. The muscle cars have no market at present, at least not large enough to permit survival. It may be that Jeep is supporting the whole tangled mess of international car manufacturer residue
The Chrysler switch to EV’s is merely disillusion. They are so far behind that they can’t ever catch up.
Pretty soon the only cars most people will be able to buy are used ... as the major car makers see declining revenue and large unsold inventories of EVs no one but the wealthy virtue signalers want.
Does that mean that if have a Dodge anything you’ll no longer be able to get parts??
No more MOPAR! Following the way of the e-Corvette! Sad times!
Woke corporate management trying to ram electric cars down our throats. With government doing everything it can to reduce power generation.
Brain dead. . . .
