Isle of Wight eatery defends itself against ‘nasty’ and ‘bullying’ vegans who were furious that their diet was not catered for
An award-winning cafe has at hit out at “holier-than-thou” vegan customers saying they shouldn’t have to adapt their menu to “suit” customers who don’t eat animal products.
The Kitchen at London House on the Isle of Wight went online to defend itself against “nasty” and “bullying” vegans who were outraged at their decision to refuse to cater to their diets.
Addressing its critics, it said: “If you want vegan food, go to a vegan restaurant.”
The popular high street restaurant in Ventnor said that though it used to serve some vegan food, they decided to stop because of a “militant minority” that spoilt it for the majority.

One of my co-owkers is a vegan. He tells me the best places to eat when he's on the road is a steakhouse, because they usually have a very good salad bar.

Makes sense. Less restaurants offer a salad bar nowadays
...And instead makes plans to cater to the cycling community.
I thought it was great years ago...now....yuk...you can’t get much more unsanitary than a salad bar...

Unfortunately for the Europeans, they’re in the process of having NO CHOICE regarding the elimination of meat from their diets. Just look at the now-defeated Dutch farmers.
I am getting ready to go on the Whole30 diet that is not vegan but restrictive.
Not looking forward to it but necessary.
I guess I will exist on eggs and ground meat because I will be so tired from not having my Diet Coke I am not going to want to do recipes

Vegan diet = rabbit food.
A fact many people do not know - rabbits have an incomplete digestive system, in that their intestinal biota cannot fully utilize the all-plant diet the rabbit consumes. The rabbit then passes two very different forms of feces, one a moist and highly nutritious soft pellet-like partially digested substance, and the other a much drier and largely fully divested of any food value. The rabbit re-consumes the softer and more moist pellet-like feces, and derives a full nutritional intake from the recycled matter. Also, it may be added, that rabbits have very little body fat, and rabbit stew has very little fat content.
Which may be a lot more than most folks ever wanted to know about rabbits.
