EXCLUSIVE: Eric Trump reveals what REALLY happened in FBI raid: President's son says agents REFUSED to hand over warrant, kicked lawyer off property, searched Melania's clothes - and ordered security cameras to be turned off

Eric Trump revealed FBI agents refused to hand over the search warrant for their raid on Mar-a-Lago and kicked an attorney off the property in a new, incisive account of the Monday operation at the Florida estate.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, the former president's son said the 30 agents who arrived at the property asked staff to turn security cameras off – but they refused.

The bureau, he said, also brought safe crackers in to break into his father's safe, and he slammed the investigators for rummaging former first lady Melania's wardrobe and searching through clothing.

He called the raid another 'coordinated attack' on his father Donald Trump and insisted there is no way President Joe Biden was kept in the dark about the search.

The latest explosive account comes with the Department of Justice facing mounting pressure to explain what grounds they had for the search.

Eric said that his father's lawyer Christina Bobb was forced to stand at the end of the Mar-a-Lago driveway throughout the raid.

'There's 30 agents there,' he recalled of the Monday search in a phone call with DailyMail.com. 'They told our lawyer… you have to leave the property right now. Turn off all security cameras.'

'They would not give her the search warrant,' he claimed. 'So they showed it to her from about 10 feet away. They would not give her a copy of the search warrant.'

If that’s true, why did NBC say comicbook fans took a “senseless blow”. Where did they get that information.

Running on ice.

I would hope even people who can’t stand Trump are appalled by this. So an attorney is supposed to read a warrant from 10 feet away???

Why isn’t the attorney making these claims? Oh yeah, she can’t lie. She’s an officer of the court.

“ Trump is nobody’s fool.”

And to that…there would be no documents of any real significance at Mar A Lago. Anything that sensitive, if there even is anything of any sensitivity, would be in the custody of his lawyers and preserved or housed elsewhere.

They were on a fishing expedition, hoping to find something they could try to embarrass him with or use in political campaigns…like tax or bank documents.

If they failed to serve the warrant, then anything they found in the search might be inadmissible in court.

They weren’t looking for evidence to use in court, they were looking for evidence that they wanted to keep away from any court. That’s why they did it. Trump is suing the DOJ and the FBI. This was their response.

Is there a place DJT & his family can go if they want to arrest him? Hungary?

Could have been a lunch menu from a local diner for that matter.

I wonder if DJT made copies of everything he took, suspecting this might happen

Probably did a “Paulie Walnuts” thing when he was searching Tony’s nephew’s apartment and gave Andrea’s underwear draw “special” attention!

Yeah, I think that lowly of our public servants.

They had the warrant, but lately they seem to have a problem handing over warrants. Probably because the warrants are frivolous warrants, but legal.

It's possible, but unlikely. The reason that everyone is hopping mad is that it is an extraordinary move for the FBI to search an ex-President's residence. When Republicans take the House, they will investigate this search.

Wray and Garland know this. So I'd be surprised it there isn't a deeper motive than fishing, or a few potentially mishandled presidential records. Trump's lawyers have the warrant, but haven't revealed its contents.

So, did they or did they not give them the search warrant? Does anyone beyond the FBI have a copy of the search warrant? And did the video continue and who has a copy?

You seem to be very concerned about President Trump’s handling of this.

Are you an FBI goon?

No, they don’t. The FBI refused to give it to them.

“They complained it was thin, but that was about it.”

A warrant does not need to state the legal rationale - it needs to state the scope and limitations of the search authorization and must have a judge’s signature.

As for the legal rationale, it is largely implied: namely that law enforcement has reason to believe the subpoena process would be insufficient and a surprise search is necessary, due to the risk that evidence might otherwise be destroyed.

In other words, the warrant need not convince anyone of the need to enter the property and search - it only needs to show that a judge was convinced, and state the scope of the search authorization.

If your lawyer contests a warrant, they must take it up with the judge after the fact, through some sort of appeals process.

At least that is my understanding from listening to Levin, Dershowitz and others.
