Due to climate change? Sounds like Nevada lawmakers are responsible.

Yet another article by a reporter who thinks Las Vegas is Nevada.

There’s a whole lot of state outside that city.

Not a climate emergency, simply desert town growing exponentially in an area with inadequate water supplies. Said water supply, the Colorado River, being shared with numerous other cities.

Not climate change. Too many people moved there. Even having the same water supplies year after year will not be enough. Double the population, and only half as much water is available per person.

There’s never been a drought in the American West before?

These people are fools.

Southern California has a far worse drought in the 1860’s....no “fossil fuels” back then.

Land was ditched really cheap. I think that how the massive Irvine Ranch came into existence; one individual with foresight buying up the land.

Should never have tried to grow grass out there in the first place. Golf courses, sure ... but if I had a home out there, I certainly wouldn’t have a grass lawn. Way to much upkeep in that climate.

Resources don't always sustain population growth.

All water sources need recharging and/or storage areas.

With so many possible combinations and interpolations, while they have such a history of past lies and incompetent pronouncements, they still seek to scare the kiddies with a fresh, extreme scare phase.

Who’da ever thunk there’d be a water shortage from millions of people moving into a desert state? LOL

It's easy to deny something that doesn't exist.

Las Vegas is a lousy place to have a couple million people. Actually anyplace in the desert. If infrastructure breaks everyone will die.

Stop California’s drain of the Colorado River (Lake Meade and Hoover Dam) and a good bit of that problem goes away, IMO.
