Bryan Griffin, deputy press secretary for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), revealed on Monday a staffer from "The View" reached out to their office to see if DeSantis would be interested in being interviewed on the daytime talk show, going as far as to say the show "would be honored" to have him on.
Griffin posted the email he sent back to the staffer on Twitter, showing the office will pass on the show's offer given previous hyperbolical and absurd statements from the show's hosts about DeSantis.
"But are the hosts of The View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom?" Griffin asked in the email.
Griffin provided examples of the hosts' extreme bias against DeSantis:
Joy Behar: "You're just short of calling [Governor DeSantis] a negligent, homicidal sociopath, because that's what he is." "What is he doing? He's risking the lives of children, children's parents, their grandparents, anyone they come in contact with, so he can appeal to his white supremacist base, so he can continue in his career and get reelected?"
Sunny Hostin: "Death-Santis...I think he's a fascist and a bigot."

Yeah somehow I think Gov. DeSantis is too much of a gentleman to go into an intellectual debate when he knows his opponents are completely unarmed.
Nope. They are illegitimate and mere harpie gossips. As a man you don’t waste time on people like them.
We should be working to get the show cancelled, not going on and helping their ratings.
The View only wants him on so they can try to knock him out early.
They will extend similar invites to leading Republicans as necessary and for the exact same purpose.
DeSantis makes smart decisions.

Not me. I think they’re full of pride about it and about how many they take with them, too.

Yes, DeSantis should agree to an interview to get his message to the people BUT - here are the ground rules.
1) The least despicable (if that’s possible) comrade from the View should fly to Tallahassee for the interview.
2) It should be recorded only by the governor’s staff.
3) All of the governor’s staff will participate in the interview with the sole View interviewer.
4) It should be edited only by the governor’s staff.
5) Edited tape will be sent to the View for airing.
Sorry, in order to protect Floridians, the Governor cannot come into direct contact with brainless communists.

If they brought DeSantis on the view, I would actually tune it. It would be great television.

It is interesting that they never do get anything at some point. Liberals are aggressive attack dogs using the public’s lack of knowledge as a weapon rather than being a part of a discussion. And many of them actually admit they are spinning, normally called lying, to the public to keep them under their thumb. So in way to many instances, the liberal plan is to live the lie and get away with it enough times to sell it to an uninterested, thus unknowledgeable voter, to stay in control not serve the citizens. And when they get caught, it’s time to move on to a new topic as fast as possible.
I had a personal situation about a year ago with a neighbor when we were talking about the actions taken by our liberal governor that were unproductive and harmful in the state. My neighbor insisted that it was not the fault of the state for levying additional taxes and causing closing of businesses with mask mandates and cutting access to many. I asked him who he thought was profiting and he said Trump and Pence and then attacked me personally about my political stance making negative comments about me in front of my wife. I walked away and haven’t talked to him since. I retired from my career in the military and vowed I would never physically harm another again. But he pushed the chance as far as I could stand when I walked away.
So when you look at the consistent effort by liberal hosts, like the view, to do exactly this, it is hard to see a point in their stance. So why give them a chance to have one. If no one goes on their shows, they will have nothing to talk about except raving. And that is no longer a talk show, it is a bunch of losers trying to sell BS. DeSantis, don’t go. There is nothing but ambush in their minds and they aren’t very good at it to begin with as everyone knows they are going to do it. Ambush is supposed to be a surprise.
