DeSantis' Press Team Gives Epic Response to 'The View' Wanting the Gov on the Show

Bryan Griffin, deputy press secretary for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R), revealed on Monday a staffer from "The View" reached out to their office to see if DeSantis would be interested in being interviewed on the daytime talk show, going as far as to say the show "would be honored" to have him on.

Griffin posted the email he sent back to the staffer on Twitter, showing the office will pass on the show's offer given previous hyperbolical and absurd statements from the show's hosts about DeSantis.

"But are the hosts of The View really interested in hearing from Governor DeSantis about all the important work he is doing on behalf of Floridians to protect their health and livelihoods, to stand up for parents and children, and to defend freedom?" Griffin asked in the email.

Griffin provided examples of the hosts' extreme bias against DeSantis:

Joy Behar: "You're just short of calling [Governor DeSantis] a negligent, homicidal sociopath, because that's what he is." "What is he doing? He's risking the lives of children, children's parents, their grandparents, anyone they come in contact with, so he can appeal to his white supremacist base, so he can continue in his career and get reelected?"

Sunny Hostin: "Death-Santis...I think he's a fascist and a bigot."

Thanks, but, NO thanks harridans. Why anyone would appear on the show is baffling to me. Lovin' it. πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«πŸ€‘

Sorry, in order to protect Floridians, the Governor cannot come into direct contact with brainless communists.

Obviously a trap to ambush my supergovernor.

That barrel of shrews isn’t worthy of shining his shoes much less him taking time to be on their bullshit show.

DeSantis should do the interview. There’s no such thing as a bad question if it’s answered properly.

It should evolve into DeSantis interviewing the hosts.

The only caveat is if they can edit the program before broadcasting. DeSantis should demand an unedited recording that his own people would make.

The instant DeSantis would walk on the stage the audience would boo and the hosts would walk off in protest. In other words:

Tony Sabado Jr, as a republican, made those a-holes look totally dumb in his interview. It’s worth watching.

Nothing they said affected him. He was cool, level headed and it KILLED THEM.

Remember when Indiana Governor Mike Pence went on national TV to discuss Indiana’s Religious Freedom Act? They blind-sided him and and he had this awful “deer in the headlights” look during the entire interview. (I knew then that Pence was not cut out for national leadership). Even though DeSantis knows he’d be going into a hostile environment, the whole deal would be set up to make him look bad. It’s a no-win scenario. Good idea to pass, and slam them on the way.

A few years ago while waiting for a flight, the airport TV was showing The View. Either the sound was off or I was too far away to hear, so without hearing what the harridans were saying, I got to fully focus on their facial expressions and body language. I don’t think I’ve seen an uglier display of bitterness and outright venomous hatred. I have no idea what they were talking about; it could have been “evil Republicans” or that they just didn’t like hot dogs. But the visual content alone showed that they are nasty, toxic people, even uglier on the inside than the outside.

Put this “kick me” sign on, Governor. We would be honored if you would wear it on our show, along with this dunce cap and this “I was born yesterday” T-shirt. No pants, though. We want to make fun of your man junk.

This reminds me of the old “Sixty Minutes” TV show. I don’t watch TV any more, so I don’t know what it’s like now, but at least in its heyday, most of the segments were unmitigated hatchet jobs. I never understood why anybody agreed to go on that show.

The questions are read to the interviewee in advance, and he must respond to each in advance, and when on the air must answer verbatim as he did in the advance screening. Andy Roony was funny, sometimes, though.

That really doesn’t matter. They just have somebody like Fat Ana Navarro [a socialist BORN IN NICARAGUA] take her place. Send her back...

ALL conservatives should do this for ALL MSM..
Give them NOTHING.

Dear Governor Desantis:

Grant the interview in a “facility” to be named two days in advance.

Stark, Florida state prison.

Isn’t Ol’ Sparky still there?

And he would be shouted down by the cohosts, who’s imbecilic comments and accusations would be met with raucous applause from their arrogantly ignorant studio audience.

No thank you.

DeSantis and his team aren't interested in Whoopi and Joy's pathetic attempts at β€œgotcha”. Besides, the DeSantis crew doesn't have dumbing-down interpreters on their staff.
