Prominent Conservatives say election was lost, not stolen (Not conservatives, RINOs and Never Trumpers)

A group of prominent conservatives released a new report Thursday outlining their investigation into the 2020 election and have concluded former President Trump's claims of a stolen election are unfounded. 

The report, "LOST NOT STOLEN: The Conservative Case that Trump Lost and Biden Won the 2020 Presidential Election," was put together by three former federal judges and eight conservative leaders who investigated Trump's claims. 

Over the course of a year, the group looked at all 64 cases of the Trump campaign's fraudulent claims in six key states and concluded that there were no substantial instances of fraud that would have changed the election results. The report goes state by state and claim by claim, taking time to investigate each legal case. 

Fears of further damage to the electoral process drove the report, as allegations of fraud continue. Investigators said they fear that Trump supporters' unwillingness to see the election as lost could come back to haunt them if they flip the majority in the House and Senate this cycle. 

"I think there is a lack of recognition that that goes both ways and that, should Republicans take over, you're opening the door for Democrats to say the same thing, … ," Benjamin Ginsberg, an election attorney who has worked in Republican politics for decades, told FOX News. 

Ginsberg, along with former senators John Danforth and Gordon H. Smith and longtime Republican congressional chief of staff David Hoppe, as well as former Solicitor General Ted Olson and former federal appeals court judges Michael Luttig, Michael McConnell and Thomas Griffith concluded that there were no substantial claims of fraud to change the election.

The report acknowledges that changes in voting due to the COVID-19 pandemic could have created opportunity for more fraud but found that was not the case.

They say that they found no evidence that even results from even one precinct were changed by fraud. Comments at the original story are shredding their conclusions - unmonitored drop boxes, boxes of ballots unmarked except for a vote for Biden entered into counting machines, numerous Pub poll watchers kept away from counting areas due to covid “restrictions,” and other well documented fraudulent practices in a number of critical states.

Allow me to explain how little that people with their particular backgrounds know about the actual issues involved in the massive vote fraud of 2020.

Trump ginned up a LOT of support from Americans (not only Republicans) who had previously thought that no one in the political arena was willing to do anything useful. TRUMP got people to the polls. Wheeling out a Romney, McCain, Hogan etc. is the fastest way to depress the numbers again.

Until the the election of 2020, there was no serious talk of the thorough and widespread tainting of electoral votes in key states. But we did have electoral fraud. It was no secret that Philadelphia would pull more votes than registered voters. Referring to election fraud in NY, Chicago or New Orleans over the last 50 years was everything from a joke in a sitcom to commonplace banter in diner conversations, never raising an eyebrow from either side.

We have all heard the suggestion that JFK won the electoral vote because of cheating in Chicago, where precincts came in 100% Kennedy, and Texas, where LBJ was acknowledged by both sides to not be above making things happen without to much in the ways of moral scruples to slow him down. You mention this in the presence of lefties, and they generally smirk. They NEVER pretend that Joe Kennedy and LBJ were above that sort of thing, or that these things didn't happen.

The problem is, we looked the other way, and cracked jokes about it ourselves, and now that approach has been taken nationwide.

To some degree the results are rigged, and now it isn't just affecting states like IL, NY and CA where the electoral outcome usually wouldn't change, but goes where ever the fraudsters need it to go.

If you want people to have faith in the system, the WRONG answer is "Shut Up", and that's all we have had for two years, including from some "conservative" Republicans. The answer is to make it harder to cheat, and to hold to account those who do.

These controversial claims are baseless, unfounded, and unsubstantiated. This is sweeping and systemic disinformation. These claims have been debunked, refuted, and completely put to rest. No credible evidence exists to support these shakey assertions, and numerous fact-checkers have marked these allegations as FALSE. Based on the reports of these fact-checkers alone, there is no further need to investigate these outlandish claims. They have been thoroughly discredited and contradicted. Continuing to push these far-fetched conspiracies, in the form of Russian lies, is sedition.

In 2016, Hillary got one of the two at-large electoral votes [Maine and Nebraska].

In 2020, the Democrats nailed down BOTH of the two they had a chance at - even though the Republican in Nebraska retained his seat while Joek was winning the presidential vote in the congressional district...
