The 79-year-old NASA administrator acknowledged that the American space administration has, in fact, been “very concerned” about China’s landing on the Moon and its agenda of hijacking the Moon.
Just thank Bill Clinton
The Lunarians may have a thing or two to say about that.
Humans are determined to take war to the moon. Hope Gort is not watching.
Everywhere they went something tried to kill them , what a downer
Is this sourced at the Bee?
I guess the chicoms never heard that the moon is a harsh mistress.
That’s OK. As long as they leave Taiwan alone.
It’s the high grounds it’s a solid move. Then they can drop rocks on us.
President Xi privately ponders ancient advice and wisdom:
“If you get caught between the Moon and New York City
The best that you can do,
Is fall in love!”
Yup.
To be specific for those unfamiliar with the concept - there is no part of the Earth’s surface that you can’t hit using cheap magnetic accelerators and lunar rocks serving as incredibly powerful artillery. Practically unlimited ammo supply and if you absolutely have to, you can power the accelerators by solar panels. Anything coming out of Earth’s gravity well will be seen coming and be the recipient of several kinetic kill projectiles.
Control the orbitals (in this case by setting up a bombardment system on the moon), you control the planet.
Wouldn’t be surprised if they had and they’re taking it themselves for that reason.

Straight out of Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress
In a few months, it will be 50 years since a man has walked on the moon. Of course like every human who has walked on the moon, he was an American. The math to accomplish this was done on slide rules. Apparently the moon is now well beyond our reach.
On a happy note, VP Harris has announced that we are abandoning the testing of anti-satellite tests, to serve ‘as a good example’.
They probably think it’s made of cheese.
