OK, so a baby’s right to life mustn’t impinge on the mother’s right for convenience, for not having to bother with carrying the child until she can give it up for adoption. For a young man having to pay child support. That terrible terrible inconvenience of pregnancy for 9 months versus a life of 60, 70, 80 years and the potential children and grandchildren of the murdered baby if it had been allowed to live! The life to be lived, things accomplished, love given..vs the right to not be inconvenienced for 9 months

The “problem at hand” is that we, as a nation have slaughtered more babies than Hitler's genocide in WW2, and that God will judge our nation because of it. True, but as our country was founded by people fleeing religious persecution, one can’t help but think that they were, more moral and closer to God than we are today. Their representative government was made up of Godly men. Today, not so much.

Yes they certainly were godly men and women, and a fair amount of the persecution that they were fleeing came from state religions. Fleeing for their lives from any religion, much less from fellow Christians, made an impression, and so we have a separation of church and state in this country.
