The end of Roe v. Wade is perhaps the greatest political and cultural event in a generation. It will change American politics forever, and — what’s more important — it will save the lives of countless unborn children. The Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs is a great victory for the U.S. Constitution, for the American people, and for justice and truth and the common good.
It is also a turning point. We should now expect Democrats and the left to call more explicitly for violence, initially against places like crisis pregnancy centers and Catholic churches, as we have already seen, and eventually against ordinary people who disagree with them. We should expect not just calls for physical attacks against the justices in the Dobbs majority, but, as we have also already seen, attempts to carry out such attacks.
This violence will likely be accompanied by rhetoric that more explicitly posits abortion not just as a positive good — “shout your abortion” — but a necessary one for women to enjoy their full rights as citizens under the Constitution. The argument, already gaining steam in public discourse, is that without a constitutional right to kill the unborn, women are relegated to a kind of second-class status, stripped of their full humanity. This rhetoric will be used in part as a justification for violence, but it also reflects the actual views of Democrats and the left on abortion.
Indeed, the very first paragraph of Justice Stephen Breyer’s dissent in Dobbs makes this claim: “Respecting a woman as an autonomous being, and granting her full equality, meant giving her substantial choice over this most personal and most consequential of all life decisions.” Note the phrase “full equality.” Without a right to abortion, women do not have full equality, goes the argument.

They couldn't be any more explicit than they have been over the last couple of years.
Threatening violence over not being allowed to kill somebody?
Well, if we’re gonna have pretzel logic, could I get some mustard?

If women in America want a “right to abortion”, they need to go the legitimate route of adding a Constitutional amendment. But I guess they prefer something more constructive, like wailing and whining and threatening violence.
They way they are worshiping “stare decisis”, you’d think they still want Dred Scott to be the law of the land.
The title makes no sense
The country ought to think long-term now.
The current state of morality in the country is somewhat dependent on easy access to abortion for “inconvenient” pregnancies. But access will now be less easy. We should attempt to achieve better morality in the country.
Today, many women who absolutely do not want a baby, simply “make it go away”. But now that won’t be quite so easy. We should plan to help women who have a baby they do not want. Orphanages and adoption agencies will be in greater demand.
Christian Conservatives have been out in front of these issues since the beginning. But the country needs to follow the path that has already been laid out. The media will try to be a stumbling block, but the country needs to get better. We’ve taken the crucial step.
Oh. And blame Putin
Abortions will be allowed in many states. There may be leftist companies or even government entities paying travel costs for abortions. Unfortunately this SC decision does not end abortion.
It does give states the option to say no now.
That’s a major step forward.
More and more abortion emporiums/butcher shops
will close. At lease the closed ones won’t be
selling parts of fetuses nationally, or perhaps
internationally.
It’s a big step in the right direction.
As for Leftist companies, a number of them have
already jumped on the bandwagon.
In fact, I’ll wager no states outlaw abortion totally. Most will stop at a heartbeat, or perhaps 15 weeks.
Few, if any, will go all the way, imho.

They think they know "it's in the Constitution." It isn't. They were not paying attention in class in middle school, fooling around, flirting with lesbian girl in next row and setting up meetings with pals at the mall.
Problem for my story: I have heard many people report that history, civics, US government and other subjects are no longer on the agenda in public schools. Guess CNN pundits will teach them later. /S
true news story: When President Trump threatened the legislative strategic move in congress called "the nuclear option" a high school girl said to a reporter "I heard on the news he's going to bomb with nuclear weapons and kill us all to get his way."
“Schumer, 41, accusing the Supreme Court of determining women's rights by following the 'intentions of a bunch of slave-owning rapists who've been dead for hundreds of years'.”
Democrats have not been this mad since Republicans freed the slaves.
Why do you suppose that spokesmen for the two sides never show the slightest understanding of the other side. The pro-abortionists never talk about the tragedy of an unwanted pregnancy. The anti-abortionists never show any understanding of the predicament the pregnant girls and women are in.
The media feeds on this conflict. News gathering is easy and brings in big audiences.
Exactly: two breathtakingly despicable rulings.
This might reverse the trend of the libs leaving high tax states for red states and in turn ruining those states.
Tho not having read the full article, I’m guessing that the ‘shameful decision’ in the title refers to the original Roe decision.
Without a right to abortion, women do not have full equality, goes the argument.
___________
Well, men never had right to abortion!
