Roe and Casey overruled. Roberts concurs.
SCOTUS ^ | June 24, 2022 | SCOTUSBLOG

There is nothing in the Constitution about abortion, and the Constitution does not implicitly protect the right.

WRONG! A bunch of states like mine have "trigger laws" in place. As of 10:00 this morning, ABORTION IS MURDER in Alabama, and a bunch of other states.

It figures that a bunch of FR pro-abort libs (like you?) would come out of the closet on this.

My mother and father who dutifully walked infront of the abortion clinic will be ecstatic in heaven....God bless them and all they did in their quiet way..

It's why the Democrats hate him so much. When he does things to make himself and the GOP look more "moderate", and therefore more appealing to swing voters, the left screams that it's all a trick, and that he'll reveal his true evil genius nature when a critical issue is at stake.

And "evil" aside, they're right. He's an absolute master at maximizing power in the Senate.

Roberts concurs?!?

I heard one explanation that Roberts agreed to uphold the Mississippi law, but opposed overturning Roe. Some are calling it a 6-3 decision and others a 5-4.

Guess the various media will get the stories straight eventually.

Not really. Vigilance at the state level is necessary

Plus it’s murder.

No state should be permitted to legalize murder.

No...if a federal law regulating abortions and allowing them across all 50 states went into effect it would not necessaritly be against the constitution. It simply takes the federal court systems out of the abortion morality business and lays the blood of murdered children more directly at the feet of the congress and the senate and the people that elected them!

Now do 80% of the rest of the Federal Government.

This was literally a baby step in that direction...

“I see it being very limited in Florida but not totally banned”

I think you underestimate my supergovernor my friend.....but we will see.

Also,

“Trying to help keep TN as it is politically”

I heard the same thing from a Oregon refugee here recently....the number of out of state license plates just in my town alone is ridiculous.

I hope you left your NJ driving habits in nj. :^)

You’re forgetting Wickard v Filburn, which virtually destroyed states’ rights as regards commerce. That one needs to be overturned, too.

True, dem(on) states will allow it. BUT:

1. When elections get clean, many blue states will miraculously turn red.

2. The fedgov will not be able to fund any abortion orgs at all. No PP, no abortion on mil facilities, ecetc. So that takes away a lot of incentive right there.

3. Out of state would=be baby killers will have a bit more trouble than if they could drive down the block. Can’t think at the moment what kind, but, for instance, a a would be baby-killer is on the state cheapie health insurance, she wouldn’t be able to use that in another state, most likely.

I'm so grateful that this happened in my lifetime. Now I would like to see History repeat itself.

"At one time, circa 1900, abortion was illegal in ALL STATES."

That would be the hope our forefathers intended..a moral society.

There are other reasons why they want to murder at will. We all know “the plans for the Great Reset…us being useless eaters and all…”

He stays until the end of his term and she will replace him then.

Unless he resigns. With all the decisions released and the work of the court done it's possible that Breyer may retire over the summer and give Jackson a chance to prep for the upcoming session - hire staff, recruit interns, etc. I think that is not an unlikely scenario.
