A public opinion survey in New Hampshire, the state that for a century has held the first primary in presidential race, indicates that Florida Gov. Gov. Ron DeSantis has a razor-thin margin over former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical 2024 GOP primary match-up.
According to polling numbers released on Wednesday by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center, 39% of likely Republican primary voters in the Granite State would support the first-term Florida governor, with 37% backing the former president. Respondents were provided a list of potential contenders for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, and DeSantis margin was well within the survey’s sampling error.

I think it’s really ripe all the groups this numbnut is
fronting for, when he complains that the wall wasn’t
built, and they are the ones who fought tooth and nail
so Trump would be delayed and couldn’t build it.
Then they stole the election so it would never be built
and this guy decides to front for them.
Again, DeSantis is not pushing this.
It’s the RNC, GOPe, who detested Trump worse than the
Left did. Anyone but Trump, and I do not want that
to reflect poorly on DeSantis. He’s a good man.
He’s got the common sense to sit this out too.

I very seldom say this, but he would be a faint memory by
2024 if I owned the place and he didn’t stop this.

1. Wall off the southern border
2. Big, beautiful infrastructure bill
3. Bring factories back from Asia and Mexico
4. Threaten any execs who would move factories out of theccountry with a heavy tax
5. New health care plan that would cover everybody
Those five were the main promises in EVErY SiNGLE SpEECH. In some speeches he also promised to tax hedge funds by eliminating “carried interest” for fat cats. Instead, he followed Ryan-McConnell’s plan and cut taxes on big work corporations, while allowing Ryan and Mitch to block the wall and the rest of his campaign promises. Instead of making Mitch and the Rijos fear him, he actually endorsed all of them AFTEr they blocked the wall , and after they forbade him from firing Mueller. Trump was weak in dealing with Mitch just as he was weak in dealing with Fauci
Desantis comes across as much stronger, more likely to browbeat the RINOs and get MAGA programs enacted

That is because he never made such an announcement.

Believe it or not, you only get one vote no matter how many rallies you attend. Also, attending a rally isn’t a prerequisite for casting a vote.

It’s a Freerepublic urban rumor. Nobody ever provides a link to Desantis actually making the statements. Bingo. And it won't happen in this thread either because DeSantis never said it.
To: SoConPubbie
BTW:
I found a site that tells of Trump’s record of wins per the
117 recommendations he’s made so far this year, that have
gone to the polls. 110 have won. That’s a 94.0% win rate.
The article tried to take a dig at him because he only had
a 75.0% win rate replacing incumbents.
Do you know how hard it is to flip an incumbent.
That’s truly amazing. I think Congress is going to be
a much better place next year. And I know he would do
the same thing in 2024, 2026, & 2028.
When Ron came on board in 2028, he would have a much
much better Congress to work with.
Folks who trash Trump, just don’t have the tools to grasp
how good he has been for the nation.

“This is a ploy to pit them against each other. Don’t trust anything ... that sorry but I’m skeptical!”
So these polled voters are trying to pit them against each other? Please. Fox publishing a public record poll is not pitting them against each other.
By the way, criticizing Trump is not being anti-Trump, it is not treating him like he is perfect.

I am going to educate you since you seem to be ignorant of how our Federal Government works. You seem to have the knowledge of an eight year-old.
You do realize there are three co-equal branches in our Federal Government, correct?
You do realize it takes the Legislative Branch working in coordination with the Executive Branch in order to complete the President's stated agenda, right?
The House and Senate have to come up with the laws to support the President's Agenda, and vote for it.
During President Trump's term in office, the GOP had control of both houses of Congress until January of 2019, and THEY DID NOT GIVE HIM THE BILLS HE NEEDED TO ENACT HIS PROMISES.
He cannot sign a bill if it is not given to him by CONGRESS!
So, once again, you are caught in one of your lies.

“DeSantis is a terrible public speaker. He has no charisma. You need charisma to win.”
Be careful not to see Trump’s entertainment value with charisma. DeSantis has class.

Former President Donald Trump can’t be beat in a GOP primary. That’s clear in new polling.
But if the 45th president decides to skip 2024, the race between Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former Vice President Mike Pence could heat up.
In the latest Zogby Poll provided exclusively to Secrets, Trump leads the rest of the GOP field by a country mile. He clocks in with 53.9% of the GOP vote, followed by DeSantis at 11.5% and Pence, Trump’s former No. 2, at 9.7%.
