Vladimir Putin has accused Western leaders of clinging "to the shadows of the past" as he creates a new world order with his invasion of Ukraine.
The world will not be as it was before the "special operation", Putin said in his speech at the plenary session of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
"It is erroneous to believe that one can sit and wait when the time of turbulent changes goes by, when everything goes back to where it was. It won't," Putin said.
According to him, the changes are fundamental, "crucial and inexorable”.
However, he said that Western countries "cling to shadows of the past".

Despite the "sanctions" Russia is currently awash in cash from their exports of oil, gas, fertilizer and food. Their revenues from oil exports alone are up two to three times in each of the since the beginning of the invasion. Excess money with the same or less items to purchase results in inflation pretty much every time.
The graph above goes only to April. In May Russia's revenues from oil and gas increased another 11%. This happened even as their production fell by 3%. Their revenues increased as a result of higher prices that they are now receiving. You will notice in the following graph that as the West has cut their imports of Ruasian energy products, the East has increased theirs. All that the "sanctions" have accomplished is shifting where Russian exports are going. They are nothing but self-righteous virtue signaling at this point.
The Russians are profiting greatly from higher prices brought on largely by Western sanctions. The corrupt Ukrainian regime is pocketing billions of dollars that is being diverted into their personal treasure trove... the big guy and friends are likely getting their cut. Somehow I think that the Russian people will manage to survive the inflationary pressures brought on by a huge influx of cash in their economy. But, pity the Ukrainian people who are caught up in this human meat grinder. Their is no incentive for the people who are calling the shots to end this insanity any time soon.
You are bound and determined to make an enemy of everyone, aren’t you?
Ok there Vlad... ...I’ll be watching you...(Sam kenisen from back to school)
Personally I like see see a Slobadon Milosevic emerge in this country!!
still light-years better than Russia
criticize the pedophile Putin there and you get shot ... at least the civilized world still allows freedom of speech
Russia is a prison ... that’s why nobody visits there (except BobL)
Sorry editing error,
Their revenues from oil exports alone are up two to three times as compared to what they were at the beginning of the invasion.
Personally I would like to see*
Lot’s of Neocon, keyboard warriors out here. If I got you wrong, my apologies.
Not true
the price of oil is up, but Russian oil sells at a steep discount, because it’s being sanctioned
China and India are paying Russia nowhere near the current world price ... AND Russia is reducing shipments 40% to Europe ...so Russia’s oil revenues are slightly dropping, for now
but they will soon drop a lot more, permanently, as more and more European countries deliberately disconnect from this menacing, proven-unreliable supplier
Russia’s future is to be poorer and more isolated
Oh I get it, The Putards arent against the NWO, but want Putins NWO.....Meet the new boss, same as the old boss...kinda
funny Putin talking about the “old order” why comparing himself to Peter the Great...
For me, I will take the NWO we have now. Better the devil you know...
Give it time. In a few weeks it will be over. The propaganda appears to be working.
You keep just believing what you are told and everything will be alright. /s
In the mean time every credible source is reporting that Russian revenues from oil and gas are up, up, up... And no, the mixes of crude that are selling for less, typically sell for less because they are contain different ingredients... Look up "what is sweet crude".

Russian oil exports to China soar to record

There is a list of similar articles that basically go on for pages with basically no evidence that shows that Russian revenues are falling. Every drop of oil that has been cut from European imports has been more than made up for by sending the oil to countries that account for 80% of the world's population who are having nothing to do with the sanctions.
Has he checked with Klaus?
“so Russia’s oil revenues are slightly dropping, for now

They can disconnect all they want, but there’s no replacement for Russian energy, so Europe will wind up paying a MUCH HIGHER PRICE rendering their economies totally uncompetitive. You obviously have no idea whatsoever about what is actually going down.
Unfortunately, until the incentives change... this will drag out for an extended period of time. The best way to defeat Russia would be to untie the hands of oil producers in the US and Canada and complete the Keystone pipeline from Canada to refineries in Texas. This would reduce the price of oil and fuel products and make the Ukraine operation much more costly to the Russians.
“Putards arent against the NWO, but want Putins NWO”
When Putin speaks of a NWO what he means is Russia, China and other countries will be moving away from the US dollar. It’s not a matter of liking it or not, it’s a matter of recognizing this new reality that is likely to come into being, and what this means for the US and their Western allies.
“Putin meets ET”
That book has already been written. :-)

Sorry, it’s ongoing, then.
“In a few weeks it will be over.”
Meh, I’ve been hearing that for months now.
“Like all those jihad member states of the UN?”
What’s the UN got to do with anything? Russia is a founding member of the UN, so obviously I wasn’t talking about the UN.
“That kind of civilized world?”
Yes, that one, in the world that we live in where a perfect utopia doesn’t exist and every country has problems. But still, we can draw a clear line between civilized countries and savage ones, and Russia has firmly planted her feet in the savage column and is proud of it.
This is an interesting point to me as I ponder something I read in the True LIfe in God messages (at the TLIG.org website) and whether or not we’re seeing these things happening or not.
There are a lot of messages about Russia and here is an excerpt from the True Life in God message “Prophecy On Russia” from December 13, 1993:
“I am ready to show My Compassion on her and I will not be slow if she welcomes Me eagerly; I will not delay to show her how I, the Almighty, can eliminate the arrogant and break their lawless sceptres; It’s that last part that has me watching the news and watching them and US, too.but, if she will perverse the liberty I have just given her and will put Me out of her mind, even for just a while, I will allow an enemy to invade her ….
if Russia will not come back to me with all her heart and acknowledge Me with an undivided heart, as her Saviour, I will send a vast and mighty host in her and from her to all nations, a host such as has never been before, such as will never be again to the remotest ages, and the sky will turn black and will tremble, and the stars will lose their brilliance ….”
We’re in major foul trouble here with our current leanings and leaders, and the stage is set for the next and possibly our last act to begin. It truly looks like these are “the end of times”, the end of this epoch.
Boy howdy, Scripture sure looks real these days, you know what I mean? Not just a book of fables anymore. And we’ve all been warned, too.
