Prayers and good wishes are with you massively. If the VA seems to be dragging their feet seek outside opinions. Does Jim have TriCare? A good VA alternative with more liberties if VA boggles down — VA doctors are being diverted to the southern border to treat alien invaders. sigh What is becoming of us?

Oops, correction!
He's in the Covid section because he had already tested positive a few days before they discharged him Friday night. Also, the VA staff I was able to speak with yesterday mentioned that his breathing has improved - "that he's able to breathe room air", they said.

Update at post #583. Jim is back in the hospital in the covid unit but to sure if that’s causing to have shortness of breath. Please keep up those prayers!

In the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese we have been augmenting Great Ektania (sung at every Orthros, Vespers and Divine Liturgy) since the spring of 2020 with these petitions:
