Thanks, Kathy!
None necessary ma’am.
Prayers continuing.
Prayers up for Jim
I’m sure he will be so happy to be home, Chris! But will he have ongoing PT? I hope so!
Prayer for Jim!
Prayer for Jim!
Wishing you the best, Chris, getting Jim back home!
Very good news
Prayers for all of you.
Wonderful news. I continue to pray for Jim.
Really good news!!! Praying for a smooth transition back home and blessings over his care back at the house.
Chris, prayers for you as well as for Jim. Hope you can get some nursing care through Home Health. Even a few hours a day will help.
Wow that’s good Chris!
I’m sure he’ll be glad to be home.
It’ll be a struggle, but with God’s help it will work out well.
I’m sure he will be glad to spend some time at his computer.
Praying the transition will go smooth and I hope the care help can spend enough time there to help with the dressings and other stuff.
That’s great news Chris.
Pressure sores can sneak up on people and they’re not aware of the seriousness until, well until the sores become serious.
I did some looking around and there are many different kinds of pads and mattresses that move within the pad, inflate and deflate, lower and rise automatically throughout the day.
Movement and shifting positions are the key.
I think or at least hope Medicare can cover the cost. I’m not quite there yet myself so I haven’t any experience with Medicare.
I’d post links but there are just so many, and then it requires your budget and Dad’s needs.
You all are always in my prayers.
I believe he is coming home tomorrow, Saturday Kathy.
Prayers up for Jim Chris John and Amy.
Jesus is The Great Physician!
It’s possible that the Vetrans Administration may cover some devices for prevention of worsening of the condition and comfort from pain.
It seems you have some good information they may be able to use.
That therapy bed looks like a good unit if needed.
The other link I couldn’t open, pdf’s and I don’t get along well lol.
I hope so.
I know a Doc can write a script for some of the preventive devices.
Which might make insurance cover it.
Glad to hear your father is returning to the comfort of home. You have a lot of work ahead of you. Thank you for all you are doing, Chris.
I bet he is chomping at the bit to get back home :)
I hope he is back to being able to eat the foods he likes again :)
Prayers are still up, and that is wonderful news that he is coming home!
