President Joe Biden announced Wednesday he would consider using his emergency war powers to increase gas production in a letter to oil companies.
Biden warns oil companies in his letter that “at a time of war, refinery profit margins well above normal being passed directly onto American families are not acceptable.”

In addition to all those, have your cabinet members and advisors threaten banks and investment funds to not loan money to those wanting to drill or otherwise invest in fossil fuel projects.

In addition to killing the Keystone Pipeline, EO 13990 allows oil leases to be revoked for ‘climate change’. The oil companies, not being stupid, know that this will happen as soon as the oil crisis is over.

if it’s pootin’s fault, then how can dementia joe “increase” gas production? does he think that refineries are like turnips, that if you squeeze them harder you can get more blood out of them?
Ukraine is officially our war now, no more pretending that Ukraine is fighting it.
He should have given a little more thought as to the outcome of his day one shutting down the pipeline and declaring war on big oil.

The crazy profits are from future supply shortages, not actual costs. Of course their margins go up, they’re still doing the same stuff, producing about the same, but the price goes up in general, then those companies are gonna be rolling in the dough!

I read an article by a former investor in oil production and he stated that investors will not invest in something they see the government taking away in a few years. Not only that, but would probably try to regulate with high taxes...just because!
Especially if you haven’t approved any new refineries in a long time, and the old ones are due for some serious revamping, but there held up in environmental reviews that go on forever. Plus the refinery has to be matched up with the incoming oil type. It ain’t as easy as playing civilization on your laptop.

Our country has not been this divided that I can remember.. on the contrary.. we have been a proud country.
Look at it this way.. the family has been attacked from government and other lost parts of society. Percentage of kids growing up in a fatherless home..are much higher than when I was a kid. There were no divorced parents on my classes.. today it’s close to half.
Kids are taught rude. Allowed rude.. no soft tongues ..
One of my sons has 2 boys 8 yrs apart.. the oldest is a senior thus fall. He plays basketball.. very good too...his dad is a hands on parent since day 1. He has put love, time, pleasure and discipline into these 2 boys.. and today they are polite, respectful, they know what is allowed and what is not. The oldest is an honor student and full time basketball. The youngest is honor student and was voted by his classmates as most likely be President one day.:)
I was successful with my 5.. but this son has done a super job being a dad.. he has a wife..she loves them.. just not as much fun as Dad.
I say all that to point out most kids don’t get the daily hands on I described. And he takes them to church. They oblige their dad because he puts love in everything..and expectations.
The kids today are free to try.. games and movies not fit.. public schools teaching stuff not connected to learning abs.
Society is a mess.. when Obama came in.. his name didn’t even sound American.. and he declared we are not a Christian nation.. and he apologized for our greatness. He once said how much does a person need.. today he has 5 homes..
He gave permission to rebel against authority if you were of color.. he created rebellion. I was held responsible for my actions .. and your actions become important to You. Today it’s a double standard.

My son is a conservative. He’s been a lawyer for 35 years.. and heads a compartment.. best to keep opinions that differ.. quiet.
My daughter started a job in radio ..sales.
She said her office is ok. But the clients she calls on are obviously libs. She is political conservative.. why is it the conservative is the one expected to keep quiet.
