I found a jar of Manuka Honey at Walmart a couple of years ago. I guess it’s worth a look. When I first found out about the honey I sent to NZ for a couple of jars. You can find it online.

I just found out about Jim’s condition, and have read all the responses. It is heart breaking to even think of Jim Robinson in such straights. How can any of us “Freepers” find a way around our hearts to think of such a thing? My salvation came in 1996 (I think)when I stumbled onto Free Republic and claimed it as “Home”. I’ve been a dedicated conservative and active in many FR events. I got to meet the “Boss” in D.C. at the Capitol long ago. Just thinking of Jim not being at the controls is frightening. Of course I am praying for his recovery and also for comfort and healing. Lord hear all our prayers for the man who has held up together for so many years. Lord, We send prayers for Jim’s family who face such hard decisions, and we pray for Jim Robinson’s healing. We pray together in the Name of Jesus.

As it happens, I just happened to call JimRob directly around Memorial Day. Called to thank him for his service (Navy) and also just to thank him for FR. Asked about his health. He was fine then.
If God forbid we lose him, at least I got a chance to talk to him and thank him again.

I would love to have met him, but our paths have never even remotely crossed, even during the Tours.
I’m glad to know there are many who know him personally, and would consider it an honor to even just see him.

I do not know. I just learned about Manuka honey last summer when my cat was in such dire straights.

Prayers for Jim and Family
Palliative care brings a lot more resources to the table without altering the goals of care. They also help significantly more with pain relief and symptom management. They are great folks.
Mr. Boxlunch and I are praying for Jim! What a wonderful man he is, providing a place for knowledge and encouragement for all conservatives. I know he can beat this!
I second the motions for using Manuka honey ( or possibly fermented garlic/ honey salve described on Doug and Stacy off grid channel). Also for a bed that provides lateral movement/ motion / cushioning for bedsore prone patients
I pray he will be much better very soon!
Jim is literally a hero to many of us.
I think of him in his way like I think of Rush Limbaugh.
There is one God, and Jesus Christ is His son. To Him I pray for Jim’s health and continuing contribution to the cause of returning America to greatness and goodness.
