Carmine Sabia of Conservative Brief talks to host Steve Bannon about the common thread behind many of the recent mass shootings that have plagued our country.
“When I look at reality, in the ’50s kids were going to school with guns. In the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s there were shooting clubs… There were none of these background checks… but you can draw a straight line from the generation that grew up having these psychotropic drugs shoved down their throat … to when these mass shootings started happening.”

It’s easily the most causal thing for a lot of the US’s problems now. I watched a few true crime vids on murderous teens and every single one was a pothead.
Time to get serious and fund institutionalization of the worst cases. There is little hope for people like this.
Big Pharma has blocked the previous shooters’ meds lists, and will bury this punk’s too.
He gives a link on twitter to a report on shooters and the drugs they were on. https://www.cga.ct.gov/asaferconnecticut/tmy/0129/Sheila%20Matthews%20-%20Cofounder%20of%20Ablechild.pdf
Well, That's true enough. I remember taking my single barrel Iver Johnson to school so I could rabbit hunt the railroad tracks back toward home..
“..The drug path all came up at the end of the MKUltra program as the CIA had dump the experiments in a hurry...”
Really doubt they “dumped” anything.
Instead, they likely greatly enhanced/perfected it with even so-called “better, more-effective drugs”.
IF that’s what these sickos really are, their super-duper “wind-up toys” are something to behold.
Would LOVE to see the evidence/truth somehow get leaked out.
Shrinks will spam this subject with arguments to deflect attention from the simple fact that all of the mass killers are or were on psychotropics. Its all bs. Shrinks create these killers. Period.
With that said, I do believe a serious study should be made to see if there are rare cases where these medications have significantly contributed to violent behavior.
IMHO SSRIs and stimulants can do just that, and medical practitioners who prescribe these medications to young adults should be required to carefully monitor their patients up to around 25 or 30 years of age.
I agree that a goodly number of mass shooters have been on psychotropic drugs or street drugs or pot and tgis is likely an important factor. The Buffalo and Uvalde shooters did not appear to have received any medical or mental health treatment, though, so seems unlikely in these two cases unless they were “self-medicating” with pot or street drugs.
We got high on just being kids.
Well, some like Prozac, do have “suicidal tendencies” listed as side effects. It’s not a stretch to consider homicidal tendencies.
My god!!!!
I do believe this guy is on to something!!!
Interesting stuff.. I would bet this 18 year old was taking something. So many different stories emerging. Major fail by cops either way.
I was expecting they were drinking rain water. Purity of essence stuff.
Yep. I had no idea it was adrenaline until decades later while researching my book.
LOL.
Ironically, some kids go on to be addicted to that rush, too, but adrenaline is atypically self-destructive (not harmful to others, i.e., eliciting violent thoughts/behavior).
.
Been following this for years. The problem is that correlation is not causation, so we have to be careful. However, in this case I think there is a good argument to be made that SSRIs do indeed have violent side effects.

In a systematic review of placebo-controlled trials in adult healthy volunteers, we showed that antidepressants double the occurrence of events that the FDA has defined as possible precursors to suicide and violence
