You demanded they get the vax.
They have heart attacks as a result of taking the vax.
You now have a shortage of pilots.

Question: do you STILL insist the new pilots take the vax?

And when companies have corporate boards, CEO/COO/CFO and other senior “leadership”:

1. Bowing down to the leftists and feminists in HR.

2. Bowing down and succumbing to the ESG idiots.

3. Bowing down to the Wall St/Hedge Fund business plans of treating everyone like sh*t, telling them that “if they don’t like it, there are 1000s lined up to take their jobs, and are more concerned with shareholders than they are with customers and employees

Hunter Harrison...former CEO of CSX Transportation and other railroads that he destroyed....Hunter Harrison, CEO of CSX railway just wrote a letter to his customers telling them to go fuck themselves in response to their complaints.....I honestly don’t even know where to start with this guy. He basically gets paid 300 million to fire as many people as possible, and wring every single dollar from a company as fast as possible.

What happened here is he fired so many people, that trains are late. He started by blaming all of the employees for not working hard enough, and has now taken the stance that the customers are wrong to complain about their shit not being delivered on time.

And who put Harrison in his place, doing the same thing to two other railroads in Canada? Paul Hilal of Mantle Ridge.

Pretty soon, there aren’t 1000s lined up to take those jobs.

I was thinking of getting my private pilot license, then using the GI Bill to go further into the training. They have pipelines set up to go work for the airlines, working your way up from flying the small, regional jets then up. Takes a while. And if you don’t have something like the GI Bill to help out, it’s close to $100k for the training, just to get an entry level job. And that’s if you make it as it is “Pay As You Go”.

On top of all that, the training director was telling me that a lot of military pilots are done. The operational tempo in the military, which also has a shortage, has been so fast that pilots are burned out. They can get a corporate desk job, no responsibility of flying and landing a plane and dealing with sh*tty passengers.

So, you spend $50k and realize you can’t make it any further, for some reason, how does one recoup that money? They don’t.

Do the airlines start offering the training for free? They might have to. Toss in the attrition rate and they’ll be going broke. And then add to that, certain candidates for the positions that will be screaming bloody murder that the reason they can’t fly or failed out was because of their race or sex.

****I am a retired military pilot with an ATP. I applied to Southwest a couple of weeks ago and they wouldn’t even look at my application without the clot shot. Its on the first page of the application.****

My son flies for United-—He had Covid and was not vaxxed. Never was an issue with him. But he started about 6 months ago coming from “jet share-—fractional” private pilot.

I am sure that they’ll be cutting prices, too. It should be a great time to fly, Democrats!

Can’t wait for them to get this up and running, fail a trans, mixed race thing because it can’t fly a kite, get sued into oblivion and have to settle for millions when they do the math on all the money it could have made flying a jet if they didn’t discriminate.

Not flying anymore. It’s been almost three years and no regrets. Don’t miss it.

“they wouldn’t even look at my application without the clot shot”

Thanks for the update—confirmed what many of us suspected.

Hopefully you can find a job that works for you without getting on your knees to these dirtballs.

I’m at PBI now. Never flying again. The American flying public are too stupid and self centered. Never again.

After what I saw my civilian flight instructor put up with to become an airline pilot, I can’t imagine why anyone would want to do it.

Following the lead of outsourced engineers, “I have not actually flown airplane but I have PhD in Airplane Flying from IIT and top scores in All-India Flight Simulator Competition”.

I survive off my military retirement and my wife works. Not a big deal if the airlines won’t hire me. Semi amusing to me to see the airlines cry about no pilots when there are some of us “highly experienced” pilots sitting around. I retired as a Commander with almost 5000 hrs as a P-3 and T-45 pilot.

That is a very good question. Compared to larger airlines like Delta, American, etc. Alaska is smaller, but I don’t think it is unreasonable for an airline of that size to lose 60 pilots to vaccine mandates sense I would imagine a chunk of them maybe based out of Alaska Watch doesn’t seem like a state where the residents would be really supportive of said mandates.

what next?

hospitals so desperate for surgeons after firing so many for non compliance with the vaccine mandates, that they are now considering allowing first year students to operate unrestricted

guess they will need those student surgeons as people will be dropping like flies and injured en mass from inexperienced pilots flying-

Pilots don’t want to be dying in order to go flying. Apparently, they have told the airlines to take their fake vaxes and shove it.

Bravo Pilots, with a capital P.

They killed a few too.
