China’s most powerful bombers circled U.S. military bases in Okinawa, Japan, on Wednesday, according to Chinese state-run media Thursday.
A pair of China’s H-6J bombers crossed between two of the largest islands of Okinawa Prefecture, Japan, where the U.S has multiple military installations, before circling in the region, Global Times reported. The bombers likely coordinated with the Liaoning aircraft carrier group, which has been conducting drills in the region since May 2, according to the report.
The military exercise featuring China’s “most powerful bombers” was a “rehearsal for keeping foreign forces from interfering in the Taiwan question” and sent “a powerful warning to Taiwan secessionists and external interference forces,” Global Times reported.
China’s drills came as President Joe Biden made the first stop of his Asia tour in Seoul, South Korea, according to a White House press release. The diplomatic mission, which will also include a stop in Tokyo, Japan, is the first time Biden has visited Asia as president.

These can also carry the Chinese copy of the KH55 cruise missile which is a nearly identical missile to the tomahawk. China now has a full GPS clone in space with military signals in the E5,E1/2,E6 bands plus L1 jamming those also has GPS they purposely overlayed the signals right on top of GPS.
They also have tested the DF100 on the HJ6
The chicom have spend the last ten plus years modernizing their forces with the latest hypersonic, ballistic and sea skimming missiles they don’t care about START treaties nor the ABM treaty nor the intermediate range missile treaty they have been ball out in development with deep pockets payed by us and our global traitor er trader friends.
We do this all the time and call it Freedom of Navigation operations (FONOPS). So we should not even have to acknowledge what they did. It gives us legitimacy to do the same in the S China Sea and between Taiwan and Mainland China.

A 70 year old platform is expendable and not a real threat at close range. The B-52 is a standoff platform at this point and would be useless for a direct attack.
