Exactly!
Fossil Fuels is dead.
Yes, it’s organic matter that has been dead for a long time.......hence the term ‘fossil’ fuel.
António Guterres - Portuguese Socialist (with an engineering degree)
Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune all have plenty of methane, a main component of natural gas. Did they have ancient forests and swamps that decayed and produced methane?
Some geologists think hydrocarbons result from abiotic reactions deep within the earth.
FU, Secretary General, I say.
I do recall hearing of supposedly dry oil wells being checked again ( during the Carter malaise, I think) and they discovered that there was a large amount of oil!
Some surmised that it could be some kind of biological algae or something similar, that reproduced and, under immense pressure, created the oil.
Of course scientists shut down any thought that oil or natural gas could possibly be a renewable resource.
Its a mystery to me. God works in mysterious ways!
This jackass needs to be denied the use of ANY fossil fuel based items for 2 years. Dump his ass on a deserted Pacific Ocean isle that has just enough food for him to survive indefinitely.
He can then come back and tell us the tales of his awesomeness as soon as those 2 years are completed.
if the good ol’ mighty UN thinks fossil fuels are a dead end, vuess they van’t have need of an army, or an air force, or a navy, because there is not sufficient technology to transport, airlift, or propel across water.
That’s funny: the UN is a dead end!
There is no such a thing as a fossil fuel
It’ll be a very nasty fall I think.
And all of the gov’t creeps who instigated it will blame the other side of course.

Yup... but we know how it all turns out in the looooong run.
Yes we do!
Lol.. give up your jets n limos.. then let’s talk.
Fossil fuels probably are a dead end...in several hundred years. In the mean-time, they are a transition source of dense portable energy.
The last surviving member of the UN will be driven to the cemetery in a gasoline-powered hearse.
