Things like this used to be a Felony?? Why isn’t Dorsey and the entire Board in the Dock and had their Assets Seized for the FRAUD they have been committing??

Because the left has seized control of the justice system. Haven't you noticed?

Was ending Twitter Elon’s plan all along? Probably not, but either way, good if they are gone.

[Is it possible Musk went through a charade to buy the company as a way to expose how fraudulent they really are and destroy Twitter?]

That crossed my mind too. He must have known the Due Diligence would collapse the sham. Project Veritas probably saved Elon a few $billion as well.

I’ll bet this guy is gone by the end of the month or quarter. The company has some serious problems.

In the end, it doesn't matter one whit what they TELL advertisers. Companies are very demanding of where they spend their online advertising dollars and they want RESULTS. If the results aren't there, they will scale back or cease spending on that particular advertising vehicle or demand lower prices. Prices to advertise will fluctuate according to the results delivered to the customer. If two thirds of accounts are fake (or simply moribund or fallow), then advertising prices reflect that. It's all baked in.

... along with freely admitting that Twitter doesn’t make any money. Between the one and the other, it’s entirely possible that Twitter will soon collapse from its own weight.

Aside from the fact twitter's defrauding their advertisers... people WHO WILL SUE WHEN THEY REALIZE THEY'VE BEEN PAYING FOR 'EYES TO SEE THEIR ADS' THAT ARE NON-EXISTANT.

Musk might want to wait and see when it comes to this bunch of crooks.

I have/had about six accounts personal and business. All dormant. Bet inactive accounts make up over half... 50% inactive, 25% active, and 25% bots, etc. Wouldn't be surprised if the active, live users are around 10%.

I was on LinkedIn during its early hay days, have over 25,000 connections, and managed groups with over half-a-million members. It made my consulting business successful early on but in later years it became clear that less than 10% of the users were active, really only 1-2% sustained activity. Paid advertising turned into a loss as that became the norm. I suspect very similar of Twitter.

The thing is a Twitter account is considered inactive only after six months of inactivity.

That does limit the misrepresentation, but it’s still there.

Even with three accounts, I would assume you don’t spend more time on Twitter; but that has always been a problem for internet ads of course.

I’s love to see the twitter execs in prison but it’s never going to happen. No truce with censors!

Journalists are little more than bots saying what they’re told to. So what you say makes sense.

If there a current group that verifies circulation of these ‘social media’ type organizations - kind of like the old ABC - Audit Bureau of Circulation?

Absolutely, they know about it because the MSM like NYT and WAPO use bots (and phony online subscriptions) to inflate their user numbers to shore up advertising rates.

The MSM is both morally and fiscally bankrupt. They are in a financial nosedive and the Twitter buyout is putting them all at risk of exposure because they’ve all been engaging in similar fraud because they are desperate for revenue to keep the charade going.

Apparently, they are too stupid to see that the actual cause of user loss is their untrammeled devotion to the DNC, progressivism and wokeness.

Dying giants do a lot of damage while flailing around. Doubt they will survive the coming recession/depression they played such a large part in causing.

Election theft has consequences.

It’s an interesting thought but I don’t think so. He would have risked his reputation with the slew of investment banks that he lined up as part of the financing package.

Every M&A deal starts out based on good faith, but then follows an intensive due diligence period where experts in every aspect of the business go over the company with a fine-toothed comb. I’ve been part of those teams for a Fortune 50 and it’s just about impossible to hide or obfuscate the true activities of a business if the people doing DD are competent. As I’m sure Elon’s are...

So the outcome will either be a re-negotiation of the sale price or the deal will fall apart, either way it will have a devastating impact on Twitter. Who would want to invest in a company that has been caught engaging in fraudulent practices?

If Musk has to walk away the breakup penalty will be fought out in court. Meanwhile, Twitter will go down the tubes.

And if he should be required to pay it, rest assured he will make it his top priority to ruin them in the market and recover it that way.

You know the answer to that. Twitter was/is part of the propaganda machine for the Democrats and as such will likely not be investigated by the SEC or anybody else as long as Biden is president.
